  1. Dear Brethren,

I am a retired SDA minister/evangelist, formerly serving in Indonesia, Malaysia, Macau, China and Australia. Now holding an honorary credential licence as volunteer preacher, and secretary of Victory Global Vision Association, a multimedia, multicultural, and multilingual broadcasting association, and editor of Voice of Power House Ministries in Sydney, Australia.

I am very impressed with your website, God bless you with more wisdom and power to reach more souls for the Kingdom.

I would like to ask your permission to relay your articles in our publications mentioning the source, of course. We have been given kind permission by The Quiet Hour, AWR, and other Denominations’ websites to republish their materials, so that more people can be saved.

    Thanks for your kind cooperation.

  2. Dear Sammy–

Feel free to use anything on our website to advance God’s work for these last days. If you provide a link to our website perhaps even more people will be able to be blessed by the ideas, inspiration and news so many have provided to make this a useful resource.

God bless you and your team in your ministry.

    Sincerely,

    Dan Serns

Memory Verse for Week (from the Adult Bible Study Guide): NRSV Matthew 4:18-19 As he walked by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon who is called Peter and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fish for people.

  3. Pastor Leo
Hello again, Lucas Williams from Southern Hills SdA Church in OKC OK. Just a little question for you. I recently spent some time with family who has stumbled upon the idea (from an outside source, I believe Adventist) that the 2300 days is not only prophetic but literal, as in going to repeat sometime in the present future just before Jesus returns, culminating with that event. Was wondering if you may have heard anything about this idea, from what I understand the idea comes from the west coast area. Any insight or opinion would be appreciated. Thanks God bless – Lucas Williams aka koolhandluke1974

  4. Hello,

This is Leo Schreven. Our attorneys at All Power Seminar are doing a thorough web search for Internet sites that use my name. In reviewing your comments they have determined that the information attached to my name on your website is slanderous, illegal, misquoted, and out of context. The All Power Network was shut down over a year ago, and a letter was sent to your office informing you of this.

We are wanting to protect the integrity and high standard of All Power Seminars and Ministries from such misinformation.

I encourage you to simply remove my name from your website in every case it is used and this matter will be settled in a kind and Christian way. Please confirm by email you have done this.

    Sincerely,

    Leo Schreven Director / Speaker
    All Power Seminars

  5. Hey Leo Schreven!

I hope you don’t run for president. Free speech would be out the window.

    scott

    • Wow,,, i heard Leo Schreven speak publicly, and seen his videos, they are inspiring, the seminars give you great inspiration to have a closer relationship with your Creator, and improve on your lifestyle to give you victory and success in life, how on earth could any man calling himself a adventist cold warn people of such a person like Leo… WoW Satan is at work to destroy the happiness of Man. God Bless you Leo, continue your good work…
      Ray

  6. For anyone interested in world events as they pertain to prophecy, I encourage you to watch the following series of videos:

  7. I am looking for more information about Leo Shreven and his All Power Seminar. I attended this seminar and I can´t believe what I heard there. Things like: “Money and wealth are more important in the bible than salvation and faith…” The ideas of the seminar are mostly rooted in New-Age thinking like Positive thinking and NLP. Is is very far away of having Christ in the center, it is about how to be rich and successfull… Who can help me. Please write me

    • Well that’s negative, for your info these seminars are not conducted for the lovie dovie christians who just want to hear sermons about faith and how Christ did everything for us, we just have to sit there and go along with the gospel ride…. No No,, he is balance if you hear the whole thing,, i am amazed how much he puts the spiritual aspect and God into his teaching, most speakers dont even mention God…. he gives you practical knowledge how to apply it to your every day life,,, i know christian hate works, they just want cheap faith… sorry a real faith has plenty of works in it, or it will not be living….

  8. Dear Marianne–

Thank you for your inquiry regarding Leo Schreven.

Although his is a member of one of our local congregations we have no connection with any of his activities. You might want to talk with your local conference or union about their position on having him involved in any of your churches. Since he is traveling internationally you might also want to ask the North American Division and/or General Conference about their position on his ministry.

Although he used to work for Amazing Facts and It Is Written, to our knowledge, he currently operates independently, is not employed by any Seventh-day Adventist Church organization and does not hold credentials from any Seventh-day Adventist Church organization.

In our union we encourage our congregations to only have speakers if they qualify under one or more of these conditions–
    1. They hold current credentials from a Seventh-day Adventist Church organization, and/or
    2. They are members of the local church where they are speaking, and/or
    3. They have a letter of recommendation from their home church issued within the past year or so.

May God bless you as you take Jesus and the Adventist message to all your community and help people prepare for His soon return.

    Blessings to you,

    Dan Serns

  9. I just attended an All Power weekend in NZ as a volunteer and was able to take in the meetings.

You must remember that this seminar is a catchment to a secular mindset and the principles he shares are biblically based. his may be the only time folk hear of God in this way. As a church we use catchments to draw all kinds of people and we are told to mingle with all types of people. I found that what was offered in the All Power seminar to be a major interest to a person who lives in our current world who doesn’t know our Lord.

For an SDA attending, we can or could pull it to pieces, however, it’s not about us it’s about winning souls. I was such a person and I would have attended had this seminar been offered while in the world. In fact I can take many principles he shared and can apply them to my life now – we’re all trying to arrive to the same place. Remember that it is the role of the Holy Spirit to convict and draw us to Christ. If the All Power seminar isn’t for you, so be it, but for others it’s the glue that draws them to Christ.

I’ve noticed that negative comments on such web sites can hinder God’s kingdom and am saddened by this.

Leo is just a layman who is doing what he can and loves to draw people to Christ, we’re not perfect and nor is he, but my hat goes off to him for getting out there and doing it. He told us he was an ordained Pastor for 13 months. In our church there are many independent workers and he loves his church.

May God be the judge and work all things out for His good in the end.

May God give us all the Spirit of discernment, by His grace

    Your friend in New Zealand
    Tania

  10. Hi everyone,

I also attended the All Power Seminar in NZ last weekend, and am now attending the All Power II Seminar. It is totally Bible-based, compelling & Holy Spirit-filled. Leo is covering all aspects of our unique prophetic message, with his unique brand of delivery.

I also totally agree with Tania that it’s all about winning souls. The message of truth is being presented in this seminar to those who have “never heard words like these”. I know that these people will be going to their Sunday church ministers and challenging them with the things they have been learning. It is the “final warning” (see Great Controversy pg 606-607). I believe we are in the time of the Latter Rain. There will be those who knock the innovations of spirit-filled men & women, who will not discern that the latter rain is falling all around them (see “Last Day Events” by EG White).

I believe Leo Schreven is doing the work, with his amazing gift of the gab, that so many of us are unable, for various reasons, to do. He is surely motivating us out of our Laodicean state. The prayers being said for this programme are continuous. If God be for us, who can be against us?! (I am on the Prayer Team).

I also agree with Tania that negative comments can be damaging, not only to his ministry, but to the name of the church as well. Let’s hope that any potential seminar attendees are not put off by them.

In closing: I do understand the official requirements of church preachers as laid out in church policy, but from my present observations would rather see that as a hindrance.

“By their fruits you shall know them”.

    Another friend in New Zealand,
    Julie

  11. Dear Tania and Julie and everybody,

I do understand what you mean, but my concern is exactly, that these catchments and principles are not biblically based, and that secular people will be very disappointed, when they read the whole bible and find out that:

    - it does not promise wealth and success and control over your health..(in this life)
    - it does not call the servant to be foolish, but even encourages people to serve..
    - it does not encourage belief in the magic power of thoughts but occultism does..
    - it does not say that you or any other human being can change everything immediately.. (“my grace is sufficient for thee..”)
    - it does not tell you, that financial success should be a priority in you life..

Instead the bible as a whole warns, that there shouldn´t be any other priority except Christ.

Based on the bible never means based on some verses while leaving out others. Whatever you read there must be looked at through the “lenses” of the whole bible. This is why I´m concerned, I just don´t want people to be disappointed.

Yes, we are told to mingle with all people, but not to change the gospel into a gospel of wealth and success. Paul, for example, never did this, his concern was Christ and Christ alone, no matter how secular the people where.

We are not supposed to change the gospel in order to make it more comfortable for secular people. The APS is to me like treating the grain chemically, but our concern should be the soil.

I´m glad L. Shrevens own conference states clearly, that they are not involved in any of his activities, and I wish our conference here in Germany would do the same.

By the way, he does not hold any credentials from our church but was an ordained pastor???

Were his credentials taken away or what?

    Greetings from Germany
    Marianne Faust (Tübingen, Baden-Württemberg Vereinigung)

  12. We have attended All Power 1 & 2 and have been blessed by both. I too had initial reservations, however as I see the fruits of these programs I am reminded that the Holy Spirit works through individuals different talents. To all you “knockers” out there I would say “get a life and get involved in ministry yourself.” There is plenty for all to do!

  13. Sorry, but real fruits don´t grow that fast. What you see now might turn out to be anything but a good fruit. Success ist not a good test for truth. Wait some years and the people who believed in the gospel of wealth and success will be very very disappointed.
Marianne, who is involved in ministry….

  14. Marianne,

With respect – off course fruit can grow fast, the Holy Spirit has been working in the lives of these people many months and years before the seminars to ripen for such a harvest…seemingly fast for us but not to Him. The minds and lives are being transformed by hearing the Word and we are told that by the Word be become changed.

Hmmm now I totally understand about your comment about ’success not being a good test’, if you’re referring to the numbers attending? As with all things, success is found in the ‘proof of the pudding’.

As always the Devil will be urging many away with his whisperings of doubt and lying, like he does with all of us. Remember the parable of the sower? everyone received the seed… but due to different soil not all yielded a harvest.

The relationship building that is happening with those who’ve stayed on for All Power II is very encouraging – it’s important to build the relationships so people don’t feel left all on their own once they start or continue their Christian walk.

A church plant happens from here and those who wish to learn more about Christ, how to have a deeper relationship with Him, how to reach others for Him. As you know that just one or two seminars can’t inform everything to a new believer. But what keeps them coming is the relationships they’ve formed and their growing understanding.

Unfortunately some fall away – but it’s always a choice we make. When I was 1st introduced to Bible teaching, I had a thorougher 2 years of learning and training before I stepped into church. My girlfriend also learned along with me and we were convinced on all the Bible taught us and made decisions for Christ. But the Devil played his games and she became offended and only stayed a year, where as I hung on and have lived and grown and continued to grow.

I can and have overcome areas in live, I have experienced my mind being changed. god is not limited.

May God bless your own experience and your ministry.

Marianne, I’ve come form an occult background. From the very beginning of All Power I Leo has used the Bible as the spiritual guide throughout the whole thing.

  15. Dear Tania, it is wonderful, that you´ve found Jesus, coming from that background. I wish to meet you one day! There is nothing wrong with building relationships with all kinds of people. Actually I think this is a very good way of ministry and I encourage you to go on!
But to build this kind of relationship and to get people interested in the gospel, making wrong promises and emerging wrong hopes will be rather a hindrance,
    L. Schreven has used the Bible, but unfortunately he has used only parts of it and left out other very important parts. That way it becomes another gospel. Of course, promising health and financial success in this life will attract many people, but that is not what the real gospel promises.
Take this sentence from AP 1: “We…want to help you to change from an employee to a business owner. Money is a very important topic for God. When you read the 4 gospels you´ll find out that Jesus talked 10% more about money than about heaven and hell together….”
What kind of message is this? That is distorting the gospel. Jesus has used money as a picture, but the clear message of the whole Bible is, that money and wealth should never be a priority in anyone´s life. The AP says that wealth must become a priority in your life…
Real interested people will find that out one day, and then they will be disappointed and may even turn away. Isn´t that enough reason to leave out all these wrong promises about control over your health and financial success?
Your and my concern is the same! We both want people to find Jesus and understand the gospel.
But I´m afraid that wrong promises will drag to many of them away in the long run. And that is what neither of us wants.
If the Holy Spirit has been working with all these people for years already, wouldn´t it be better to tell them the real gospel instead of another gospel?
    Marianne (sorry for my English)

  16. Hi again Marianne – your English is fine.

From what I remember about AP it covered all aspects of a persons life. Money is only one area and being a good steward is what matters and learning to do so is important. To some (many) the Lord has blessed with wealth, with others the blessing is in other areas. I’ve noticed many are in debt and learning to handle money is a good thing – and yes some wish to be rich. We’ll let the Lord work on them in His way.

As for wrong promises… I don’t recall him making any. Things have worked for him and his life and in educating yourself to do things a different way, I guess you could find yourself in a better position financially. But you will also in other ways in life, in health, relationships etc.

My comment about the HS working on people for a while didn’t mean that these people are ready for a full blown KNOW everything about the Bible. It means they are ready to receive the Word now, their hearts are strangely warmed. Some do others don’t.

Were you aware that there is a seminar after AP? AP is the catchment, which is applicable to the the needs of people who don’t know Christ. Therefore its of help and interest as it’s practical. At least I found it to be so, an din speaking with those who attended they thought so also.

From what I saw, Leo always mentioned the Bible as the spiritual basis to everything.

The next seminar is called The Turning Point, where Leo teaches prophecy of Jesus Christ from Revelation and Daniel. It is in fact very powerful and a good many who have attended the 1st AP came over to learn more about spiritual things. It’s been ’straight’ teaching from the Bible alone.

From here we’ve made available further teaching each Wed nights in going over All Power once session at a time and further teaching on Sat mornings for the many who’ve said they’d want to learn more.

Off course learning about what the Bible says about everything will take a life time and a visiting evangelist can’t cover EVERYTHING.

Marianne, what drew you to Christ? did you grow up in a Christ centered home? if not what area interested you about knowing Jesus?

For me I was interested in learning the difference between God’s view on relationships and my own. It was something that drew my interest. Also the Lord told me in a dream that He’d give me an abundant life should I follow Him. At the time I took it to meaning I’d be wealthy, but in growing up in Christ these 8yrs I’ve found a deeper meaning to what ‘Abundant’ means… grin. Back then I had limited understanding….now it’s better and I bet the Lord still has more for me to learn regarding ‘an abundant life’.

So do you kind of understand where I’m coming from?

There is a healthy balance we all need to attain to in life. Leo’s seminar will be a beginning for many to think about their lives. I’ve had a huge education from it, even with regards to money. It took a few weeks for me to understand what he was talking about, but I’m grasping it now…his way hasn’t been my way of thinking before, this could trip up people I guess. But the Lord continues to guide.

Anyway – the Lord will use who He may and as I said in a past post, Leo’s ‘flavour’ isn’t everyone’s cup-of-tea, but for many it is. Go figure… grin.

Anyway – right of not, the Lord continues to use the talents we each have to reach those who don’t know him. I couldn’t do what Leo does, I wouldn’t be able to reach people that you can touch either, as we are very different (I recon), but the Lord knows just the right person who will respond to my way of relating and encouraging. Regardless of my mistakes the Lord will use us all.

Let Him use Leo – pray for him, he needs it. If his way of bringing over these messages doesn’t work for you, then don’t listen, but if it works for others – Praise the Lord!

Marianne, thanks for the post conversation. It’s been lovely meeting you across the miles. Yet I’ve no idea where you are from.

Much love from downunder in New Zealand

  17. Hi everybody! Looks like Tania and I have attendet 2 different seminars. The AP1 I´m talking about has a handbook and the author is L. Schreven. Everything I´m refering to is also written in this handbook. And there (just like in the seminar) the focus is definitely not on being a good steward, the focus is on financial and personal success.
Being a good steward is mentioned, but which message is sent louder? The emphasis is on the message that you and everybody WILL become rich and successful if you follow the L. Schreven-method. Nowhere in my handbook I can find something like: “I GUESS you COULD find youself in a better position financially..” but all I find are things like: “you WILL become rich and successful.”
I only attended AP1 like many if not most people, and I don´t suppose that L. Schreven is saying in the AP2: “sorry folks, but all these promises about wealth, health and success were only catchments, what the Bible really says is….”
The people I have talked to, agree, that the “loudest” message of the Seminar is something like:
“you WILL become rich and successful of you follow the L. Schreven-method.”
This method includes tithing (because it makes you rich..) and it includes to stop sinning, which sounds kind of easy, because with a simple 3-step-program you can overcome EVERY sin (that´s what the handbook says).
But this is not what the Bible teaches about sin, and this “gospel” is so reduced and changed, that it has become another gospel.
When Jesus was talking about the future, his great concern was “another gospel”. He was talking to his diciples, to those who knew their saviour best. But another gospel is not allways as easy to recognize as we might think.
So no matter what the AP2 is about, this message of the AP1 is wrong. It might be a good catchment, but who would distribute free alcohol in order to fill the seats for a health program?
May be, L. Schreven is not aware of the message he sends. I wish he would take my concern seriously. The APS undercuts true dependence of God by fostering the impression, that we ouselves can change our lives.
Greetings from a German who loves New Zealand! (it is for me the most beautiful country of the whole world)
    Marianne

  18. Dear folks,

if you want to find out about the background of the ALL POWER SEMINARY LEVEL 1 you should read the book/e-Book DECODING THE SECRET (“The Law of Attraction from a Biblical Perspective”) from Leo Schreven and co-author Rich Cavaness, Copyright 2007 All Power Seminars, Inc.

This book is so to speak the “Christian” answer to the esoteric movie THE SECRET by Rhonda Byrne, Prime Time Production, 2006, dealing with the Law Of Attraction (LOA).

DECODING THE SECRET teaches that “the LOA is a universal law, an eternal principle set forth by the Creator God…The LOA is a very solid Biblical teaching.”

Unfortunately the LOA is everything else but “solid Biblical teaching” – it´s solid EASTERN RELIGION and NEW AGE PHILOSOPHY.

The authors claim that “THE SECRET is not a secret, it´s been in the divine writings of the Bible for thousand of years!” Together with Rhonda Byrne they believe that “you are a living magnet…you attract into your life, people, situations, circumstances, and experiences that are in harmony with your predominant thoughts.”

They join Napoleon Hill (“Think and grow rich”), the most popular author of Postive Thinking in his believe: “Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve…Keep reminding yourself that thoughts become things!”

In the following I give you some quotes from DECODING THE SECRET which may speak for themselves.

“Many do not understand that the LOA is affecting their lives every moment they still breathe.”
“We believe in 95% of the basic tenets of what THE SECRET is all about.”
“There is only one thing in the entire universe that you actually have 100% complete control over: Your mind.” (comment: This is NLP-teaching!)
“So the gospel of prosperity is 100% Biblical!”
“Even Jesus Himself spoke more about money than Heaven and hell combined!”

Leo Schreven & Rich Cavaness also believe in VISUALIZATION:

“You need to clear all negative and limiting beliefs out of your mind (comment: NLP!) and spend time every day visualizing…Visualization activates your creative mind and triggers the LOA…Visualization in your subconscious is one of the most powerful tools in the world.”

The authors even don´t shrink from referring to Esther & Jerry Hicks´book “The Law Of Attraction”. The Hicks got their knowledge about different mental laws by channeling through a medium called “Abraham”.

CONCLUSION: The authors of DECODING THE SECRET are completely taken in by Positive Thinking. Quote from DECODING THE SECRET: “I like what Norman Vincent Peale (comment: the father of Positive Thinking) said in his book `Why Some Positive Thinkers Get Powerful Results´…”

Therefore they are in the same line with Positive Thinkers like Rober Schuller, Yonggi Cho and others.

    Birthe

  19. Hi,

Just thought I would throw in my 2 cents.

You speak about Leo having no having ‘credentials’. I am not trying to justify Leo or anyone else. My point is that Jesus had no ‘credentials’ is the eyes of the Jewish Pharisies. They couldnt see that he was their messiah and were clearly the ones in the wrong because they were so caught up in religion/tradition! I think its time the church stopped be so ‘religious’ and caught up in traditions, credentials etc etc and focus on the only thing that really matters – JESUS!

  20. Hello everyone,

in recent days I have tried me to form an opinion on the All Power Seminars. I think the basic concept to motivate people is very good.
But I´m shocked about Leo Schrevens attempts to prevent a free discussion about his mission concept. This is very sad.

    • I think Leo does not want to prevent free speech, i guess he doesen’t want the devil to take control of the people so they dont get chance to at least listen to one of his sessions, so they can judge for themselves. I wouldn’t like anyone putting my ministry down, if its to serve the Lord, we should stop slandering and start working together to bring people to the fold of Christ…

  21. I am a Bible Teacher at an Adventist Academy. I have used the AP seminar in my classroom. My students have decided to make some serious changes in their life. They are making goals. One of them just got a job. Another is enrolling in a college. Another has made the decision to stop eating junk food. As of the 20th of this month am debt free (except for my student loans and mortgage). Two other students have went to their pastor and said they want to help in the church.

These decisions are all directly related to the pricipals shared in the video. How can anyone believe God does not want us financially independant. How can indebtedness and government dependance glorify God? I do not understand how anyone could say that the ministry is not producing good fruits.

Does God want us to use sound reason?

  22. Who said that God wanted us to be poor and dependant? I did not say that this kind of fruit wouldn’t be possible. But this kind of fruit you can also produce in courses that have nothing to do with God and the Bible. But this was not my point. It is wonderful if somebody makes the decision to stop to eat junk food. But this was not my point. All these “fruits” that are mentioned here do not justify the wrong use of the Bible. This is a different gospel. It is a wrong understanding of sin and salvation. The promises are wrong. The focus of this seminar is definitely on the self not on Christ. It is the self that is supposedly overcoming sin. Ask you pupils about their understanding of sin. Ask them where the focus of the seminar is in their eyes. Ask them if they think, that the Bible promises control over your health, control over your finances. The Bible promises nothing of that, not in this life!
Fruits don’t grow that fast. How can anyone think, that a decision to stop to eat junk food can be considered a fruit. Wait some years and then look again and look for those fruits the bible talks of: “for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and thruth…”
I can’t discover financial success in this kind of fruit…
If Jesus is so very concerned about a different gospel, should’t we be just as concerned?
    Marianne

  23. Hi all,
I have met Leo and been to two of his seminars so far, one in 2007 and one this year in 2009 (May). I did not realise there were such strong views against his method of evangelism! He is a sincere guy and wants to glorify God in everything that he does.

I think its sad that there is so much tension in our church. Don’t you think that God is not the one being glorified here but actually its Satan who is winning. We need to stop bickering and just praise God for the real blessing that people like Leo are bringing to others.

I can honestly say that I have been blessed by his meetings. I think that striving to attain a better position in life can only glorify God! Admittedly I suppose its all in the attitude. But he made it totally clear that money is not the focus of his life, its being involved in ministry and helping others is what gives him that buzz!

I think you could put a positive or negative spin on anything anyone says or does.

I like what Jo said on April 19, when Jesus was on earth there were only a few that truly accepted him. Do you think we are being a little bit over judgmental here? I myself have been judged by fellow church goers and I can tell you from personal experience that its a real slap in the face when you are genuinely trying to do your best for God. I think we should pray for Leo that God may continue to use him and stop pointing out all his flaws.

We can only plant a seed, lets let God do his work and not hinder it! Let God be the judge.

  24. Can I just add that because of Leo’s seminar, I have become more aware of the influences that I surround myself with each day like watching secular tv, movies etc. I have limited tv to such a point that I hardly watch it now and have found it drastically changed my attitude to being more positive and happy.. I only want to surround myself with those things that are good, just and right that my mind might be pure. In this way , surely I am more of a light for God than I was before! Being a more happy and loving christian to those around me. I believe that God is using Leo for good. :-)

  25. Hi everybody!

How can I convince you that I am concerned? I am sitting here, trying to write things in a foreign language, while my 4 little kids are making noise in the backgroud. Why, because I love you.

And I love Jesus. And I think you are making a big mistake. I am not saying Leo S. is a bad person! I’m sure he is a wonderful guy, who wants to work for Jesus!

But people can be wrong (like Paul), Leo can be wrong, I can be wrong…
    How shall we find out?

The only argument, that is repeated over and over, is the argument of the “fruits”.
“I have been blessed and look at those fruits..”

Is this really the only test for truth? Is stopping a bad habit and the feeling of being blessed really an indicator for truth?
There is nothing wrong with the decision to reduce Tv consum and I’m sure it will make one’s life better. But the question is:
Is this kind of “fruit” enough to know about wrong or right?

People from scientology courses can achieve results that are even more impressive! (lost 90 pounds, stop smoking, found good job…) Do these impressive “fruits” make scientology right? Isn’t it possible to achieve all these “fruits” together but still lack the fruit of the Spirit?

These “fruits” are possible without knowing Jesus at all. I’m not suggesting L. Schreven is a scientologist or a pharisee, but the latter were also able to present this kind of “fruit”. Breaking with a bad habit, deciding to go to college are really good ideas, but they are not necessarily indicators for truth.

I think L. Schreven really wants to work for Jesus. But he shouldn’t forget, that Jesus is the Truth. That can only mean, in this kind of ministry, truth is absolutely essential. Working with wrong promises does not fit here. We would miss the goal.

Nobody can be working for the Truth while at the same time making wrong promises and misquoting the Bible. Jesus never said, that wealth must be a priority in our lives. The contrary is truth. Jesus never promised financial success and health for his followers. The APS makes these promises. Is that truth?

Am I really being overjudgemental? All I ask for is truth. Stick to the real gospel, don’t misplace the focus, don’t make your own definition of sin and evil (evil is not something just outside man that can be overcome by staying away from it. Evil is inside the person )and don’t misquote the Bible.

I’m not a very conservative person. I can live with a variety of opinions in church, as long as it doesn’t change the heart of the gospel.

Please try to understand my concern!
    With love
    Marianne

  26. What I can say is that I attended Leo’s seminar and it was a blessing for me and my family.
I think what you are missing here is that he offers 2 seminars, the AP seminar and the prophesy seminar, the seminar one can balance what YOU are misquoting here.
My wife wasn’t SDA by the time she attended the seminar, she was absolutely sure of what to do after the seminar and it is to give herself completely to Jesus, and she did!
Is that a work of the devil or of God?
Because you don’t like what he says about seat warmers doesn’t mean that you have the right to judge his job for the Lord.
You say he doesn’t have credentials, what credentials had Paul and Peter when they were preaching the gospel?

All this just makes me wonder who you are working for, is this page for constructing God’s kingdom? are you sure that by bashing ministers you are helping to spread the word of God?

think about it my brother, you might be working for the enemy.

Free speach doesn’t mean you can be irresponsable and careless about what you say!

  27. Hi there!
Since the author of the last comment hasn’t read the rest of the page, I got the opportunity to repeat myself and to add some details.

    1. I’m not misquoting the APS. Everything that I mentioned here is written in the German Handbook of the APS. Whatever the 2. Seminar is about, it cannot wipe out the wrong promises, the wrong understanding of sin and salvation and the fostering of New Age methods like Positive Thinking and Neurolinguistic Programming.
The focus of the 1. APS is wrong. It is on personal success and wealth. What about all those people who do not attend the 2.APS? If only the 2. Seminar can balance…?

    2. Some people found Christ by hearing a pop song or after they lost a friend. Paul found Christ while persecuting Christs followers. Gods ways are wonderful, but they are not our ways!
God is the one who converts people and he is able even to do it by strange ways. Does that give us the right to change the gospel?
The pharisees had won many followers and some of them even turned to Christ later.
Does that give us the right to preach a Pharisee-gospel?
Does the success, however impressive it might be, give us the right to change the gospel, to make wrong promises, to focus on money and wealth?
Paul had no problem “bashing certain ministers” when he saw that they had changed the gospel. Am I working for the enemy, just because I’m concerned about a changed gospel?

This last comment repeats once more the only argument for the seminar on the whole page: the success justifies the APS. But with that argument you can justify all successfull groups, even the pharisees and worse. Success is not an indicator for right or wrong!

And as it looks like to me, there is no other argument. As the comment above shows, L. Schreven is reading this page. His close co-worker in Germany has my email adress. Why hasn’t he tried to convince me, that my arguments are wrong?
Because it is crysal clear that they aren’t wrong. I have shown this handbook to many people, and they all agreed with me. Wrong focus, wrong promises, New Age methods and all together a different gospel.
We are supposed to spread the gospel, the real gospel, no different gospel, even if this different gospel seems to be very successful.

The biblical story of the women which was diseased with an issue of blood, shows, that for Jesus it is no problem to convert people, even if they come from an occult background and their thoughts are heavily influenced by that background.
She was healed dispite her occult thoughts, that touching the hem of his garment would solve her problems. Gods ways are amazing, but they are not our ways.
And that is why even a conversion does not justify the wrong use of the gospel.
Sorry, but in my eyes, irresponsable and careless would be if I just kept quiet.
    Marianne

  28. Saying that Leo is wrong to say that “You WILL be rich if you follow these principals” is like saying that someone who says “You WILL achieve your goals if you do what you must do to achieve them” is wrong as well.

If you have a goal, and you do what is required to achieve that goal, you WILL achieve that goal.

    That logic is flawless.

You are being petty and focusing on ONE part of the seminar and making a big deal of it.

    Your concern is misplaced.

Yes, I promise you and everyone in existance, as well, that you WILL achieve whatever goal you set, so long as you do what is required to achieve that goal. And I will never break that promise. :-)

There is nothing wrong working up a little self confidence with positive thoughts.

  29. Hi there!
Thank you for the opportunity to write more about the flaws in this AP Seminar. Look at this sentence: “you will achieve your goals if you do what you must do to achieve them.” This is like saying: “you will become rich if you earn a lot of money.”
In logic, this is called a tantamount.
The problem is not only to know what it is you must do but also to be able to do it.
The book of Job teaches us very clearly, that not everything that happens in our lives is in our control or is caused by ourselves. This is what Job’s friends thought, but they were extremly wrong, remember?
So, if you had the opportunity to arrange and control everything in your life, you would probably be rich. Fortunately this is never the case, because then all poor and sick and suffering people would have caused their own fate.
The disciples were also thinking in these categories, when they asked about the guilt in the case of the blind born man. But remember, Jesus rejected this logic.
Are you working up a little self confidence or are you psyching youself out? (learned that from Ben Carsons wife just last week…:-)
I know a better reason for self confidence: You are made in the image of god!
Isn’t this much better than just trying to make youself believe that everything is sooo positive? Fact is, there are many negative things in this world. How are you going to learn from mistakes, if you don’t accept anything negative anymore. Suffering can make us grow. But pretending there was nothing negative only makes us blind.
Remember, Jesus was crying when his friend had died. Or has he said: “oh, come on folks, think positive. At least I have the opportunity to wake him up now…?”
Sorry, Jesus never tried to see things positive, when they weren’t. Allways being negative is of course wrong, but forcing everything to be positive isn’t any better.

  30. Hi there!

Thank you for the opportunity to write more about the flaws in this AP Seminar. Look at this sentence: “you will achieve your goals if you do what you must do to achieve them.” This is like saying: “you will become rich if you earn a lot of money.”
NOT REALLY, IF YOU DON’T CLIMB THE MOUNTAIN, WILL THE MOUNTAIN CLIMB YOU?
OF COURSE NOT! YOU HAVE TO GO FOR IT! THIS IS THE REAL MESSAGE! THAT’S WHY WHAT YOU WRITE BELOW IS CORRECT BUT IRRELEVANT TO THE REAL TOPIC.

Remember, Jesus was crying when his friend had died. Or has he said: “oh, come on folks, think positive. At least I have the opportunity to wake him up now…?”I STRONGLY DISSAGREE WITH THIS, YOU INTERPRETE JESUS CRYING AS CRYING FOR HIS FRIEND? DO YOU THINK JESUS CRY WHEN SOMEBODY WHO WILL RESURECT IN HIS SECOND COMING DIES? I DON’T THINK SO, HE CRIES FOR THE SUFFERING AND PAIN, NOT FOR DEATH, I INTERPRETE HIS CRYING FOR THE LACK OF FAITH THE PEOPLE HAD. DIDN’T HE KNOW HE WAS GOING TO BRING HIM BACK TO LIFE? DIDN’T HE KNOW HIS FRIEND WASN’T SUFFERING? COME ON!

Sorry, Jesus never tried to see things positive, when they weren’t. Always being negative is of course wrong, but forcing everything to be positive isn’t any better.

I JUST DON’T SEE HOW YOU CAN TAKE THE STATEMENT AS TRYING TO FORCE EVERYTHING TO BE POSITIVE.

PRAY A LOT MORE MY SISTER!

  31. Are you (particularly Marianne Faust) studying the current Sabbath School Lessons on 1 John? Are you aware of its emphasis? Love! (Even for the erring.) Don’t even think that you’ll leave earth without it because not a one will!

Remember: You love God as much as you love those whom you love least; so don’t fool yourself with your dissimulation of love.

First, inquire of Schreven exactly what he means; then if you can engenger enoblement to the brethren (sans the expense of another), do so–with unfeigned love.

  32. Hi there,
just came back from vacation. How nice to find 2 new comments. The first comment says that I wrongly interpreted Jesus’ crying.
Actually I didn’t say Jesus was crying BECAUSE his friend had died, but WHEN his friend had died. But never mind, what the exact reasons might have been (they are not mentioned), fact is that he didn’ see the whole thing very positive at that moment. And there are many other times when Jesus saw things as negative as they where. He never forced himself or anybody else to see things positive!
Thank you for the advice to pray more – that is never wrong.
The second comment about love is a little strange. If you see somebody erring, and he is also trying to convince other people with that error, would it be love, just to let him go on? If L. Schreven doesn’t mean what I wrote here, he should at least be concerned, that there are so many people who understand this seminar just like me.
Yes, Jesus loves everybody, but remember the harsh words he used when criticising the Pharasees… Love cannot be reduced to always being nice and soft. Every mother can understand what I mean. Love can sometimes mean to be very direct. Sometimes it means critique or even punishment. Paul wasn’t nice and soft to the people who changed the gospel.
Again: I’m not saying Leo is a bad person. What I am saying is, that in this seminar, Leo is wrong.

  33. Marianne, you keep knocking Leo Schreven on his Allpower Seminar 1,which I have not seen, but have heard about, but you obviously are not prepared to give him the benefit of looking at his Prophecy Seminar. You could be pleasantly surprised at the constant quoting of BIBLE verses, backed up incidently by even more similar verses, from other parts of the bible. As a New Zealander I pride myself on not being narrow minded and am prepared to accept that no one is perfect, but believe that scripture backed up by scripture is indisputable. Friend in Jesus

  34. Apparently my comments are taken as offensive. Not meant to be, my point being that you cannot judge someone on one business type seminar without looking further into his religious seminar. My narrow minded comment was in meaning just that.

  35. Don’t worry, I’m not offended at all. I love to communicate with people from all over the world! One day I’ll meet you and I hope to be your friend.
You say, that I cannot judge someone about what he says in one seminar, without knowing his other seminars.
Why not? Most people only attend this first AP seminar. I don’t intend to deconstruct the person. What he claims in this first AP seminar is wrong. No matter how many other seminars he helds. He is like all of us: not always right and not always wrong.
Let me say something about constant quoting of Bible verses. Have you ever talked to a Jehova’s witness? That is exactly what they do: constant quoting of Bible verses. Does that make their theology rigtht? No.
You can back up almost every opinion with Bible verses, as long as you don’t mind the context.
    L. Schreven claims that you can change everything imediately. On every page of the APS handbook you find Bible verses and EGW quotations. But neither the Bible nor EGW support this claim. Although you might find quotations out of context, that seem to support this view.
    L. Schreven promises control over you health and your finances. How will he back this up other than taking verses out of context? Context means not only 2-3 verses around the verse. It is much more than that. You can only understand the Bible, if you look through the lenses of the whole Bible.

  36. hi everyone
Just thought i would let you know my story. I lived a life of miserable sin for a long time and eventually ended up in a terrible bout of depression on medication. A series of events happened and i cried out to god for help. I was still in denial wanted to drink and even though i had fallen back into sinful life it didnt last long and i got married and split frm my husband for 4 months. I was so worried about not getting back with my husband i asked once again for gods guidance and i believe that the holy spirit led me to Leos conference. I was so hopeful in everything based on verses frm tyhe bible that first smoking and drinking were gone and i havent stopped thanking god to this day nearly two years ago. Everything has not been perfect for me and my husband i have learned so much about gods mercy and grace and frm our pastor at church about the seminar that we have to make sure that it whatgod wants for us and now i make sure that i pray that everyday i pray that whatever i do its Gods will and to walk in the paths of righteousness. Im still learning about my anger and did a salvation army course once more to learn more verses and to realise that i cannot control anyone ( which i so had become used to all my life) therefore learning that being a christian goes against everything i had ever known. I did the all power seminar twice thru to test it no but becoz of my stubborn nature in not wanting to ask for help which has changed a little aqnd am still working on i believe that people frm all walks of life are there for all God surely does work in mysterious ways. He has also blessed me and my husband with another child whn i was told that im getting too old. I could be wrong but i think that if you ask God for his guidance the holy spirit will lead you in this all power conference i am what i considered to be a greedy person money aqnd wanting has not become a priority for me in this but miracles have happened in all ways. I had never done a bible study before in my life at church and although i have been faced with things i dont like about myself i am a new person in christ and just got baptised. My husband and support an african family and a ministry as well and believe me god is in that too i can remember a time when i would not have given a person the time of day. The day i got baptised my pastor said to me that my message was phillipians 4vs 13 i can do all through christ who strengthens me. AMEN. I hope that this email lets you see another side to a person who was lost and now with hope is found.

  37. Dear sister!
What a truly wonderful story you shared with us. Thank you! I am so happy that you’ve found Christ. I can see your honest gratitude and I pray that this will always be you only motivation to follow Christ. Don’t stop reading the Bible and keep in contact with our saviour, and he will settle the rest for you. So in your case, there is not only joy in heaven but also joy in Germany :-)
Please think of me and don’t be disappointed, when you find out, that the Bible doesn’t promise control over you health and your finances. Many followers of Christ were poor or sick or both, but with Paul they could and can express contentment in every condition of life.
Not because they psych themselves out and refuse to see the negative side of things (this never works in the long run..).
Instead they receive the help of Christ to be content:
Phil 4,11… “for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, to be content. I know both how to be abased and I know how to be abound: everywhere and in all things I am instructed both, to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me…”
    God bless you
    Marianne

  38. I encourage you to use/listen/watch Independent evangelist Leo Schreven in your churches or schools.

He has a sound message for everyone in all areas of life. Feel free to visit his website http://www.allpowerseminar.com/

  39. Hi Andrew,
I encourage you to read the rest of the page. Those who are interested in a sound message in all areas of life, I encourage you to read the Bible.
The message of the Bible may not seem as attractive as the AP message, it doesn’t promise you health and money. But if you invest a little time, the biblical message will turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to you.

  40. Dear Sister Marianne, for over 28 years of SDAism, I have listened to and rebuted hair splitting (it’s sickeningly useless – Jesus thought so too).

Raising a flag of caution regarding falacy, lies, disention and heresy is one very good thing (downright Godly) but to perseverate on /criticise Scheveren’s approach to reaching people where they are at (my wife and I were definitely NOT where we were easy to reach…it took novel ideas), my be wasting precious time.

From what can be gleaned from others addressing your concerns and my having much to do with varying levels of conflict within my calling/career, it appears that you may not be understanding what some commentators are trying to convey. A vital questin is: is this Schreven chap leading people to Christ and are they reaching new and deeper experiences with God through his encouragement. Evidently, yes. So, do you really have time to kick against a movement/approach that succeeds in the Great Commission? If so, could you kindly, concisely state your case (<50 words should be sufficient if I'm getting the gist of your concerns)? This may be most helpful to the bros. & sis's commenting herein. Thank you…your sincerity is evident and you must come to Canada! G.

  41. For All!

It has been interesting to read all of your comments. I can see where each side is coming from as to whether or not the AP seminar is a biblical tool that God is using to reach people.

I have thought about this very subject, and will humbly share my thoughts.

I have been to an All Power Seminar. I was impressed with Leo’s confidence, and information about how we are designed with minds that build habits, and that bad habits can be changed to new habits.

This idea is in the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy.
“As a man thinks in His heart, so is He”

We need a constant sense of the ennobling power of pure thoughts. The only security for any soul is right thinking. As a man “thinketh in his heart, so is he.” The power of self-restraint strengthens by exercise. That which at first seems difficult, by constant repetition grows easy, until right thoughts and actions become habitual. If we will, we may turn away from all that is cheap and inferior, and rise to a higher standard; we may be respected by men, and beloved of God.–The Ministry of Healing, page 491 (1905).

That being said I must also say that Christ was not brought as the center of the source of those thoughts being changed. What good does it do if I change all of my bad habits to new ones, just because I want to exercise my choice?

Jesus said that many would say “Lord, Lord” when He comes, and would have many “good work” prophetic preaching, casting out demons, and “many wonderful works” (behavioral changes) and yet they are not ready because they have done it for themselves, and have not done it out of a heart that has been melted by the Gospel.

Because of the biblical examples of the men and women of God, including Jesus, I think that the method of behavioral change promoted in the AP seminar cannot be supported. It mixes truth with error.

I have talked with Leo personally, and He is very kind in person, and pleasant to talk with. I am certainly not making a judgment of his heart or his sincerity, but is it not possible to be sincerely wrong?

    God Bless,
    Charles

  42. Hello Again,

I forgot to mention the money making issue.

I was honestly surprised when I heard Leo talk about money like it needed to be a top priority and focus in our lives.

I do believe that we need to be good providers for our families, and to avoid debt etc. But the Bible shares no light supporting a need for us to put so much of our effort and time into making big bucks.

God has always blessed some with alot of money, and some He has not blessed with so much. In His wisdom, He blesses as He sees fit, for the maximum benefit to bringing souls to Christ.

Solomon was wealthy, but not because he poured hours of time and energy into the art of becoming wealthy, but because he was humble, and asked for wisdom in regards to being a good leader. Money was the farthest thing from his mind.

These were some thoughts that came to my mind, I hope they are a blessing.

    God Bless,
    Charles

  43. Thank you for attesting me sincerity! Me too, I’m against hairsplitting, but as you can see, my concern is about truth in most important parts of the gospel (understanding of sin and salvation, use of wrong promises).
Let me say something about what you call a vital question:
Is this really the only question we are supposed to ask? When there is a baptism in the end, all means are allowed?
Would you find it perfectly okay to promise a woman without children, that she will have a baby when she joins the church. I am sure, this method would work.
We would increase our membership enormously. Some of these women would even have a baby after some time. This would be a successful method. Some of these women would learn about Christ and stay in church. Would you say the method is legitimate, as long as some people find Christ?
What you forget here, is the tragic fact, that this method will also produce a large number of disappointed women. How many of them would never listen to a christian again?
Would you agree if a pastor is using hypnosis to convince people, everything is all right as long as somebody gets baptised? I don’t think you would.
Your question is surely important, but it can not be the only question. Our question must always be: is it truth, does it spread the real gospel?
Even the crusadors had some success. But how much damage was done? How many people in that region still have great resentments against the christian message?
It is one thing to reach people where they are, making wrong promises is a different thing.
By the way, I love Canada and I know a very nice adventist family in Oshawa.
    Marianne

  44. I absolutely recomend the APS to anybody that is interested in hearing the truth of the Bible.

I certainly wouldn’t recomend Marianne’s advices, just pray and attend the meetings, you life will change for good because you’ll get closer to God.

Some people is being used by the enemy, it’s sad but true, I’m not going to say that I’m not, that’s why you have to figure out by yourself if the message is from God and the Bible or not; my testimony is that my life and my family’s are now in comunion with God, I didn’t hear anything that didn’t come from the Bible, but you have to listen to everything so you won’t get confused like some people in this page.

Again my best advice is to pray a lot and study the Bible, if against the Bible then you know what to do with the message if not, listen to it and enjoy a better relationship with our Creator.

    blessings,

    Erick

  45. Good thoughts, Charles and Erick. May I comment on the “entering wedge” of earning people’s attention, interest and trust before presenting Christ. It is vitally important to mix with as many people as possible that by some means we may win some. Modern (not quack) psychology is accepted by most people now, so this can be a perfectly good approach. In conducting a variety of “Community Service” seminars in communities, we did not use God’s name at all. Why? Because people attended to learn how they might live better lives. Periodically, someone would ask why we did these things for the community and then that’s where we were able to tell them of our Captain and Chief; our Motivator and Guide. Did this result in baptisms? Not that I recall. That wasn’t the reason we did the seminars! It was to serve (as Christ compels us) and to perhaps witness verbally. Truth? Yeah, it’s in there. But nobody will listen until they’re desperate or your friend/trusted one (today’s reality as I see it).

    Heads Up! G.

  46. As long as you stick to the truth, no problem. Although I would like to discuss the point some day, of how exactly can we teach people to live better lives, when you leave out God? Isn’t the better life only possible or may be at least easier, when you live it with God.
I mean isn’t God the one who helps you living a better life? Or, how good can life become, without God?
I do understand, that you try to build up confidence first, but unfortunately we often forget, that this is only one first step. The second, very important step of preaching the gospel, we tend to negelct.
But faith comes by preaching and hearing, not by social work. I am not against social work as long as the preaching of the gospel is not neglected. Anyway what you are doing is surely a good thing.

What I do not understand is, how can anybody not care about the possible damage of Leo Schrevens All Power Seminar.
Should we really not care about all those who are mislead and disappoinded and who will never listen to a christian message again, as long as we gain a feeling of a closer comunion with God?
Shouldn’t we consider the damage which results from the wrong promises, the wrong understanding of sin and salvation and the wrong focus of money etc?
God cares about those disappointed people, because he loves them too. A deeper comunion with God will definitely let us care as well.
A deeper comunion with God isn’t just a feeling. It is something that will always result in a deeper love to the neighbour.

  47. Well put, Marianne. As I mentioned and will now stress…”entering” wedge…also commented before in different terms by earlier bloggers. God loves us! G.

  48. Leo Schreven has just been at the North New South Wales Camp Meeting delivering his ‘prosperity gospel’. Some of his meetings were no different from Amway Rallies. He sure knows how to work his audience. In some cases it was as though people left their brains outside the meeting place. His voice continually bombards people and there is hardly anytime to carefully analyse what he is saying.

  49. Hi! It’s great to see you guys are so passionate about evangelism and Truth! I’d like to make some observations about this discussion (rather than directly about Leo).

It seems very clear that Marianne isn’t opposed to applying the principles of an ‘entering wedge.’ Rather her concerns are about stark error, or misrepresentation of the truth. I think that most critics of Marianne’s comments have sidestepped these allegations and generally responded with testimonies of the fruit or suggestions that her thinking is too narrow.

Giving most voices here the benefit of the doubt, IF it is true that Leo teaches erroneous principles and yet peoples’ lives are changed for the better, IMHO we would conclude that he is doing a good work for God, in a similar way that other sincere, dedicated and sacrificing evangelists out there who are not part of the SDA church can still be used by God to lead people to Himself.

Again, I’m only commenting on the preceding discussion, not on what I have observed about Leo. What do the rest of you think?

    Keep the faith!
    Andy

  50. Thank you Ena, I was surprised you’re using the same words, a church member here used after the All Power Seminar:

This was just like Amway.. And in the end you are invited to join the “family”. Quit your job, cause its foolish to serve others. Let other people serve you instead, we were told. If you don’t know what to do, you can make a lot of money by conducting All power seminars.. I cannot see in what way this should be biblical…
Sounds more like ordinary rip-off to me…

Now Andy: Thank you for reading the rest of the page. You are right: my concerns about stark errors haven’t been dealt with so far. The testimonies of “fruits” and the attempt to put me on the devil’s side, do not answer the problem.
Your question: Is Leo still doing a good work comparable to non SDA-evangelists?
Well, there is definitely a big difference between a distorted gospel and the gospel of a non-SDA-evangelist. Most protestant evangelists do not change the gospel into a gospel of prosperity. So the people won’t suffer disappointment by the gospel itself.
Of course God can use Leo. He can use Mozart as well and others. To me, the most important question is not: Are people reached inspite of the erroneous message?
But it should be: If the message is erroneous, how much damage can it cause? And which dangerous side effects could occur in the long run?

In my opinion, Leo is throwing the grain under the thorns and on the rocks. Without light and without the chance to grow strong roots. Many of them will open and grow a little (but its too early to talk about success), but die soon. This All Power message will produce a lot of disappointed people who (although at first very enthusiastic) will never listen to the gospel again.
This distorted gospel doesn’t hold what it promises. It is not comparable to the gospel protestant evangelists preach.

  51. Hi Marianne! Sorry, I wasn’t very clear with my statement:

“IF it is true that Leo teaches erroneous principles and yet peoples’ lives are changed for the better, IMHO we would conclude that he is doing a good work for God, in a similar way that other sincere, dedicated and sacrificing evangelists out there who are not part of the SDA church can still be used by God to lead people to Himself.”

I didn’t mean that he would have a similar message to other preachers. I meant that just as other non-SDA speakers may have God working through them, and yet they are wrong, similarly Leo may be doing some good and yet is wrong. If we know his ministry is mixing truth and error, we should not be encouraging people to attend those meetings, even though we do see some fruit from them.

I agree that mixing worldly principles (such as a desire for temporal wealth) with evangelism isn’t good… actually, teaching worldly principles with or without evangelism isn’t good.

  52. Hi Andy!
Had a hard time to find out what IMHO could mean…:-) Sometimes my English isn’t good enough. I agree of course and I am happy about your statement. Thank you!
    Marianne

  53. Hey you people,
Reconsider what you are doing here!
I can’t believe what you are doing! For 30 years I’ve been SDA and what I find over and over in our churches is deconstructive criticism, there’s nothing that we do not try to destroy. Whether it is the flowers on the pulpit that don’t look quite right, the dress your sister’s daughter is wearing is too short, your brother “ignored” you at the entrance and didn’t shake hands. Even if the sermon was so dry and thick that we barely stayed awake; this we do over and over. Let me assure you, you will have your reward; God stated clearly before he left, to go and preach the gospel to the whole world, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. And what are we doing? Destroying what our pastors are doing! People, this is so wrong! Pray that you wake up! You think you are being smart and just because you think you can find error in our pastor’s teachings, when what you do is take stuff said out of context and point it out claiming “oh this is the work of the devil”. I really feel sorry for you, there’s so much to do to help this world, there’s so much need; for instance Halloween was last night; instead of counteract the devil and trick or treat the world, we join them: “it’s an innocent activity” we say and lots of our kids go out and dress like daemons.
I will never claim that Pastor Leo is perfect or that all he says is perfect, even Ellen White made some pretty interesting mistakes and you know what? I believe she’ll be save, I believe because of her work many will be saved too, and so I think that many will be saved because somebody like Leo obeyed the word of God and loved it enough to do what so many of us is ignoring that is to go out and preach! How dare you saying that the fruits are not legitimate? Are you God? Where you there when the world was created? Where you there when the conversions happen? Did you read the hearts of the people baptized? Do you see them going to their Bibles everyday and study the Word of God? Stop whining about what you don’t like about the preachers or what they say and join them to preach, I bet you can be used too if you yield your heart to the Almighty. Some day God will come and ask you what you did with your time. Did you use it preaching His Word? Or did you use it to destroy His work? Think about it and I urge you to worry about this, the time is coming when we won’t have even the right to speak the truth, the time when we won’t have the right to preach and if we don’t join our pastors to preach many people’s life will be on us.
This is my last message in this forum. I don’t think is worthy to be writing in these SDAs forums when there are so many places where God needs us to go and preach. Jesus is coming soon my friends, let’s get our actions and attitude checked by Him and let’s pray we can go back from our evil ways and do His will.
    Blessings,
    Erick

  54. Well put, Erick. We did connect with some of Pastor Schreven’s products and they are not gospel but MLM…(not my cup of tea), goal setting and such. What’s that got to do with Jesus? Don’t know but the disciples were raked over by Christ for wanting to put an end to some others, (not of thier crowd), for preaching and working miracles. So, the floor’s yours Marianne. I join Erick and hit the road to find the lost and tell as many as I can about His incredible grace for a dog like me! G.

  55. Thanks for your thoughts. Let me give you just some questions to think about.
    1. If Leo was preaching that you should forget the Sabbath, would this be okay for you? Why not?
Because this would be wrong and not the truth. And that is exactly our concern! Leo is preaching things that are so wrong, that the gospel becomes a different gospel. And this different gospel doesn’t bother you at all? Is it really wrong to be concerned about the truth. Wouldn’t you be just as concerned, if other truths in the gospel were involved?
    2. Aren’t you concerned about the damage this changed gospel could cause? I can’t read the hearts and I never said I could, but neither can you. You can’t tell if someone joined the church for the wrong reasons, neither can I.
But if wrong promises were made, the danger is very real. Why aren’t you concerned about those people who believe in his gospel of prosperity?
Yes, Jesus had allowed others to preach and baptise, but this doesn’t mean he has allowed wrong promises and a different gospel.
If truth doesn’t matter, why was Paul so harsh with those who had changed the gospel? The preaching of erroneous messages is an important point of interest in the NT. It is mentioned many times and always condemned.
And you really mean this doesn’t matter? And that it is even wrong to be concerned? Anything is fine as long as somebody is preaching something that sounds like the gospel?

  57. Who can translate that for me, please???

  58. I have read this entire forum up until today’s date, and I have to say that I did attend All Power 1 several years ago. I was astonished to see that “Pastor” Leo Schreven is not actually a pastor. Since he is no longer recognized as a pastor, he should therefore not even be presented to us as one, although they used that title for him at the church I was attending at that time. Fight the good fight, Marianne! You are defending the gospel, and that is a very good thing.
My other issue with Schreven’s message is that at the end of it, various church members felt led to start their own businesses, and interestingly enough, it seems that some of the money goes back to Schreven.
This seems very wrong to me. Did he come to my area to win souls for Christ, or to make money? Apparently, both. This is completely not acceptable. Did Jesus try to turn a profit? Absolutely not.
Schreven seems like a nice person. However, it is wrong to try and do a presentation to win people for Christ, and to also try and make money at the same time.
I was also concerned that in order to truly participate in the seminar, we were told we ought to purchase workbooks and things like that–yet again, a profit is involved.
Additionally, my sister, who is a native English speaker, pretty much didn’t understand a word of the message, because Schreven speaks so quickly. I myself noticed it was rather fast, and I was reminded not of an evangelist, but an entrepreneur trying to “sell” me something.
Salvation can’t be bought or sold. I’m not pleased to hear that these seminars are continuing to be taught in other parts of the world (I’m in the US), and I can only hope that true followers of Christ will pay close attention to that still, small voice that tells them, ‘This is not the true gospel’.
    Happy Sabbath, friends.
Prayerfully consider every comment on this forum, and if you have attended the All Power Seminars (and again, I’ve only attended All Power 1, but what I saw was more than enough to get an idea of what kind of confused message he’s preaching), I urge you to test everything that you have heard. Was it all 100% Biblical? Have you ever seen any other “pastor” trying to sell you something?
    –Kristy

    • Leo has asked that these comments be posted as a reply to Kristy.

      Dan,

I saw that you had posted the messages, thank you for doing that.

May I also ask that you remove the one recent post by Kristy on November 20. Her comments are simply not true and I do not want this to spread. If you have her email address, please pass this email on to her as well.

      1. I am an ordained Adventist minister since 1986. So, she needs to be aware that her comments on this are completely false. The only reason I do not carry current credentials is because credentials are only issued to ministers who are on the payroll. My wife and I choose to serve the church free of charge and we donate our time rather than take a salary. But this has nothing to do with the fact that I am fully an ordained SDA minister.

      2. No money goes to me, or has ever gone to me in any way shape or form. Her comments about encouraging people to get a home business and that I get part of that is completely a lie and absurd.

      3. We provide a manual as many seminars do so the people can get the most benefit from the materials and apply it to their lives. We cannot give these away because the cost would be enormous. So we put the manuals out and people can put in a donation to get one if they want. In most seminars about 1/3 of the people take a manual without donating. So we often lose money. If we make a profit, it goes into the Ministry. I have never kept one penny from any sales of Manuals, tapes, books or anything. We donate nearly all the seminars free, and last year my wife and I covered 91% of the Ministry budget ourselves. In other words, we have donated Millions of dollars to the church over the years completely free.

This type of gossip has to stop. Kristy needs to be encouraged to speak the truth, and get her facts straight in an honest way. Spreading lies and misinformation against a minister is a serious sin that she will be accountable for in God’s eyes. I will be happy to talk with Kristy and answer any questions she has.

      Sincerely,

  59. Leo Schreven has requested this response to be posted to this website.

    Dear Everyone,

This is Leo, – and a brief note to address the issues.

First, the reason I don’t respond to these kinds of websites is because I have better things to do with my time then to chase the Devils many rabbits. My life is leading people to Christ, the gospel, and the abundant life He offers. So, I try to not get sidetracked from that.

If any of you want to know what All Power Ministries is all about, just check out our website: http://www.goallpower.com and you can see all the All Power Seminars and Bible Prophecy Seminars online for free.

I will address a few main issues.

    1. There is not one thing in our seminars that is not in harmony with the Bible. Marianne and others have supplied zero documentation of the claims they make of what we teach. In fact many of Marianne’s statements of what I said are simply not true at all in any way, shape, or form. It is all here-say, taken out of context, or misrepresented. We have had wonderful success in Marianne’s country of Germany with All Power, so much so that the South German Union has had us come 5 times, filmed the series which airs on HOPE TV, and love the seminars. In fact the Union brought in 89 of their pastors for me to train how to do the seminars! They are now using it as a powerful evangelistic tool that is reaching the German audience for Christ. We have helped plant 2 new churches in Germany and God has blessed. I spent 6 years reading the book of Proverbs, and the books, “Mind Character and Personality” by E.G. White in preparing the seminars. There is no “New Age,” no, “Prosperity Gospel,” no “Visualization” or other things contrary to the Bible. If you want to see what we really teach, in context, then please look at the seminars online for free. Then you will have the facts.

    2. There are 2 seminars on money in the 20 seminars. There are 49 Bible verses used in these two seminars. Money and Christian stewardship is a very important subject in the Bible. There are over 2,000 references to money and possessions in the Bible. There are more verses in the Bible about money than salvation or Jesus. Sixteen of Jesus parables deal with how we handle money. Jesus talked 10% more about money than he talked about heaven and hell combined! I teach the Biblical principles of money and stewardship based on all these bible principles. If you doubt it, watch seminars #17-18 online and you will be blessed. Most of all, read my new book, “Rich God, Poor God.” It is the most thorough Biblical study of money, finance, and wealth ever done to my knowledge. It addresses this issue with absolute clarity and 100% Biblical principles. You can order it online at the website. You will love the truth, and the truth will set you free.

    3. There is no “gospel of prosperity.” In fact I teach strongly against it. However I do teach the abundant life and prosperity from a biblical standpoint. The word “Prosper” is found 50 times in the bible, “Prospered” is found 13 times, “Prospereth” is found 4 times, “Prosperity” is found 17 times, and “Prosperous” is found 5 times, for a total of 89 times. That means there are more texts on prosperity in the bible than there are on the Sabbath. The difference is this. True Biblical prosperity is the result of following God’s principles, commandments, laws, and truths. Whatever I sow in my body, mind, emotions, finances, and spiritual life is what I will reap. Prosperity goes into every area of life, not just money. This has been God’s plan for His people from the beginning. That we would so live his principles, we would be the envy of the world and the head and not the tail. That is what we teach in All Power. It is what the Bible and SOP teaches. Notice these beautiful quotes:

AA 252. “Had the Israelites obeyed the instruction they received, and profited by their advantages, they would have been the world’s object lesson of health and prosperity. If as a people they had lived according to God’s plan, they would have been preserved from the diseases that afflicted other nations. Above any other people they would have possessed physical strength and vigor of intellect. They would have been the mightiest nation on the earth. “The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and He shall bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. The Lord shall establish thee an holy people unto Himself, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, and walk in His ways. And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the Lord; and they shall be afraid of thee. And the Lord shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground. The Lord shall open unto thee His good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand. . . . And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them.”

    4. I don’t need to spend time defending what I do, or the All Power Ministry. The results speak for themselves. Just this month we have had over 9,000 people respond from over 100 countries who have been blessed, gained victories, found forgiveness and salvation, are rejoicing in the truth, have been set free from addictions, and are growing in God’s grace. If you have any questions about the bible message, please watch the 27 seminars online which cover all the major truths of the bible, and you will see the clearest, and most powerful messages of truth you have ever seen, – guaranteed.

    5. I invite you all to not spend your energy and time in gossip websites like this tearing down God’s work. Use that energy and time to develop your gifts and go out and lead someone else to God. Win a soul to Christ. Use your energy to bless others. Let’s advance God’s kingdom, not the Devils.

    6. If you want to see the truth about what we do, I have below a list of letters and comments from consecrated pastors from around the world who have actually sat through an entire All Power Seminar and participated in it. After reading all these testimonies, I think God will speak to your heart and you will see how the All Power Ministry is blessings millions around the world.

I will not be commenting on this website again in the future as my time is best spent in winning souls.

    Sincerely,

    Leo Schreven Director / Speaker
    All Power Ministries

    Dear Brethren:

A few months ago our church hosted Leo Schreven’s All Power weekend seminar. His presentations were very dynamic, engaging and inspirational. We’ve been following this up with weekly meetings where we watch three 15 minute segments of his DVD’s. We follow each segment with a brief discussion before working on the exercises in his 60 day workbook.

What’s most significant, however, is that we’ve already seen lives positively transformed. One family has been attending church for about two years. Both father and mother struggled with cigarettes for many years. After the All Power weekend, they quit smoking. Sincere and conscientious, by their own choice, they put off joining the church until they could experience victory in this area. The Sabbath before the Oshkosh Pathfinder Camporee they joined by profession of faith. At the camporee their three young sons, who’ve also been attending the follow-up All Power seminar, were baptized.

An attending non-member who had been procrastinating getting major dental work done, came to a meeting a few weeks ago with teeth repaired, a brand new smile and a new sense of confidence and resolve to make other positive changes in her life. She’s also studying to learn more about our faith. Another lady who was raised in the church but has been away about thirty years, attended the initial weekend and is continuing to attend weekly. She’s finding positive support as she deals with major challenges in her family and in her job where she works in a top management position. Others are experiencing positive changes and directions in their lives as well.

What Leo covers in this spiritual life management series definitely touches hot button issues in people’s lives today. He’s scratching where people are itching and doing so in a very palatable and engaging manner, while at the same time introducing and including life-changing Biblical principals. This is truly a modern-day, entering wedge, extremely appealing, life transformational approach.

I would highly recommend Leo’s material, including the weekend seminar and follow-up series to as wide an audience as possible.

    Sincerely,

    R. Mitchell Jonakin
    Senior Pastor
Pastor evaluation from the All Power Seminar.

New Castle Australia, August 7-9. NSW Conference.

“Great tool for personal development both for myself and those I work with. My members were positive about All Power’s usefulness, particularly as used as an entering wedge for evangelism. It meets people where they are in life and naturally leads to spiritual fulfillment. The transition is effective, natural, and non-offending to secular people. Leo did a masterful job, – the best SDA minister I have ever seen. Thanks for the insights in helping people reach their full potential as children of God.”

    -Pastor Mike Robinson.

“For me, – greatly motivated to address many issues. Challenged me to evaluate the need for financial security and see this as a needed stewardship principle. My neighbor was going to attend on Friday, changed appointments to attend Saturday. I really enjoyed how the Bible under girded all. Mostly very relevant, and a great springboard. The transition was the best I ever heard, well set up from the beginning.”
    -Pastor Ken Love.

“I absolutely enjoyed the presentation. I am a pastor very passionate about evangelism and I found a very efficient way of luring the public in an evangelistic meeting and give them an edge on living their lives to the full strengthening of their social, health, financial and spiritual life. The transition to the mission seminar was unlike anything I have ever witnessed. Leo is the best evangelist I have ever sat under.”
    - Esava Koro

“As in Christchurch I was very impressed. Challenging, informative, interesting, and relevant. The transition statement was excellent and All Power in my thinking is a great entering wedge to the evangelistic meeting. God bless you Leo, Elva and I thank you.”
    -Pastor Roger Nixon.

“Firstly, I really appreciated your energy and enthusiasm and vision for reaching secular post modern world. As a pastor I am looking forward to experimenting with this approach myself. Your model of self-sacrifice and using your talents to glorify God was something we all need to model. As pastors we need to set a standard that others can look to see Christ working through us. My only negative is that my wife suffered from information overload!”
    -Pastor Eddie Mackie

“A refreshing series of presentations. This seminar has great potential in reaching successful business people who are often neglected. And having been reached they in turn can help lift our churches to be the head and not the tail. Our whole society is geared toward helping those who have no desire to lift their game, – but to stay where they are. But the principles of All Power taught in this seminar will be of great advantage to them and to our church members. Leo needs to do this as a satellite across the entire South Pacific. Great seminar, – it is time we targeted the professionals.”
    -Pastor Beth McMurty.

“I brought 6 people, 3 under 18. Leo is a fantastic visionary, and generous and authentic professional motivational speaker! A winner! Well done! The audience loved the fun and incredible passion he brought to each seminar. Loved the positive message, it is a wonderful new tool to attract seekers from non- churched. Congratulations to the whole team on a vision to reach our community.”
    -Pastor Bronwyn Reid

“I found the seminar very thought provoking. My members enjoyed it immensely, they wished they had brought more friends. I talked to a few of the visitors, it struck me they were middle age men, a demographic we rarely get, – that was impressive, they loved it! It was relevant and effective. The dear old saints found Leo a bit fast. The transition was so sincere, as a pastor the highlight for me. Very effective.”
    -Pastor Susan Magaitis

“The audience was engaged, the content was helpful and needed by Adventists as well as non Adventists. It held up a high standard in all areas, which definitely gave people something to shoot for.”
    -Pastor Colin Dunn

“I have been very impressed by the seminar, because in my life as a pastor I have had a question why we are scared to approach secular people. Leo’s seminar does this very effectively. Every time we start with doctrines we are not answering peoples daily questions or problems. So we create churches that attract dysfunctional people and end up with dysfunctional churches. How refreshing to see a seminar that was done with excellence, and attracting professional people!”
    -Pastor Jan Jankiewicz.

“Fantastic! Enjoyed every moment! Overwhelmed by my members response. The presentations reached the secular community. Totally relevant. The audience feedback was 100% positive, I have never seen any minister reach an audience like Leo, they were spellbound the entire time even after 10 hours. All Power is a very effective tool, and good approach. This seminar opened up doors I have never seen in Australia.”
    -Pastor Leo Wright.

“Thank you so much! I thought Leo connected with the audience well. He spoke in a language they understood. His stories were real, relevant and inspiring. I had my 10-year-old daughter and she sat through all Leo’s presentations and really enjoyed them. – Who else can do that? It was all positive, Leo has inspired me to make my ministry more effective.”
    -Pastor Granville, Tooley

“The majority was informative and empowering. Greatly impressed the non-SDA couple I brought along. Great tool to reach the secular community. Content was good. Transition was done well – excellent.”
    -Pastor Paul Geelan

“Very impressed with the content and enthusiastic presentations. Was effective and should be effective across all Australia to touch the secular community. I was not present the last day to see the transition, but was impressed with the spiritual emphasis right throughout. Leo talks very fast, that would be my only complaint!”
    -Pastor Gordon Smith

“Full appreciation of the programs. Concepts addressed were powerful and challenging as many people were led to look at their beliefs, values, and goals from a different perspective. Great feedback from non-SDA’s. Adventist members were the most excited I have ever seen. There is only one Leo, and he is the best pastor I have ever learned from, thank you for bringing him here!”
    -Pastor Allan Hedges

“It got my attention, the members response was very positive, it was very effective to reach the community, relative to the audience and to me as a pastor. A great entering wedge tool. The only thing I think could be better was to reference more of Leo’s statistics. Overall it was the most effective evangelistic approach I have ever seen.”
    -Pastor Kevin Brown

“Awesome, insightful, informative, very helpful, professional, logical, transforming, and practical. That about says it all.”
    -Pastor Ef –Feau

“This began a new exciting pathway for me. Spot on to reach the secular community. Seminar content was unlike any thing I have ever heard. The audience was well engaged and responsive. Yes, yes, Yes, – the most effective evangelistic tool I have ever seen. I needed it, loved it, valued it, keep on, be strong, god is using Leo in powerful ways.”
    -Pastor Paul Richardson
    June 8, 2009

    Dear Brethren,

My name is Robert Benardo and I am the Senior Pastor of the Milpitas Adventist Center (MAC). We are a church that believes in “old style” public evangelism but are always looking for new and innovative ways to improve and make it relevant. We found in “All Power” with Leo Schreven just that mix of the old and the new. His “bridge” event, “All Power I”, speaks to business people where they are keeps their attention. Many of those same people then transfer from the bridge event to the evangelistic series that follows.

The beauty of it all (especially in this economy) is that if it is done right, the business community can pay for most of the cost! Leo was great to work with and catered to our needs. I especially appreciated his low pressure approach to visitation. We had 9 baptisms and have about 10 more who have committed to keep the Sabbath holy and are coming regularly. Beyond that we have nearly 30 excellent interests to develop. Our goal is to do this again next year on a larger scale. If done correctly we should have 500 visitors and baptize 100 of those.

    Let every worker in the Master’s vineyard, study, plan, devise methods, to reach the people where they are. We must do something out of the common course of things. We must arrest the attention. We must be deadly in earnest. We are on the very verge of times of trouble and perplexities that are scarcely dreamed of.‑‑ {Ev 122.4}

I have recently had the pleasure of working with Leo in Winnipeg, Manitoba,

Canada. My congregation (The Transcona SDA Church) invited Leo to conduct

an All Power Seminar in April, 2009. Leo did an amazing job for us. He is

well organized, very professional, and an extremely dynamic speaker. Our

All Power weekend generated much excitement. We welcomed 141 non-Adventist

guests. They were incredibly enthusiastic about the experience. Our church

members were thrilled with the response from the community.

Leo is an outstanding edutainer. His presentations are both educational and

entertaining. In the All Power seminar he addresses virtually all the felt

needs people have today. He points people to Christ, and empowers them to

make changes in their lives. The seminar is so practical and helpful.

Leo is very sensitive to people who are not yet Christians. He presents

Bible truth in such a tactful way that non-Christians do not feel offended.

Yet, his messages are powerful and straight forward.

Leo connected rapidly with our audience. The people quickly came to love

and trust him. By the end of the weekend there were high levels of

appreciation for him and loyalty to him.

We’re currently in the middle of our follow-up to the All Power weekend.

We’re screening Leo’s Bible Prophecy video series. The presentations are

powerful and inspiring. Leo makes Bible truth so clear and easy to

understand. I’ve participated in a number of net series over the years.

However, I’ve never seen people as responsive to a presenter on the screen.

It may be because they’ve met Leo personally. But whatever the reason, I’ve

been quite pleased with the response.

If you wish to speak with me further, my cell number is 204-771-9061. You

may also contact me by e-mail: pottsj@mts.net.

    Dear Leo,

We want to thank you for the “awesome” weekend we experienced April 4h & 5th 2009!

We were challenged by the Georgia Cumberland Conference last October 2008 to plan events for the community in preparation for the year of Evangelism 2009. The Hixson Seventh Day Adventist Church decided to focus on three main events to offer to the community. Because of today’s economy, where people are feeling frustrated and lost, we felt that “The All Power Seminar” was the message that people wanted to hear.

As you are aware we are a small congregation with a total membership 112, with about 30 – 40 active members. With our limited resources, we circulated 5,500 flyers, 4500 as a mailing and 1,000 flyers distributed at various locations in the community.

We had a total of 83 in attendance! It was exciting to hear the various comments the attendees had! One individual that registered from the City of Chattanooga commented that “everyone needs to hear this seminar!” Another stated: “What a powerful message”! A doctor (Buddist) attending said: “I teach at USC in the orthodontic department and I have been all over the world to hear all the top speakers. I have heard Steven Covey, Dwayne Dyer, Tony Robbins and more and I have to say that I have never heard anyone speak with such a depth of substance as this man.” We are amazed as we continue to hear responses from this event of the various lives that have been changed!

As a follow up to the “All Power Seminar” we had elected to offer “All Power Level II” to be held at the same venue “North River Civic Center” – We had 32 sign up! We have hosted several events for the community before and we have never had this many sign up for Bible studies as we did this time. Thank you for helping with this aspect also!

From the positive response we received from the community and the efforts with limited resources of our little group I can’t help but think of the impact if “All Power Seminars” could have if presented on a larger scale. What a difference this would make on lives across America! “All Power Seminar’s” is the evangelistic outreach we should all be involved in for impacting lives for God’s glory.

Thank you again, for your dedication in winning souls for God’s Kingdom.

I was blown away with the All Power seminar. I have been to others that were great, but I loved the bible input and the spirit and power that Leo presented. I praise God that through this ministry I as a pastor have seen that my God has given me victory, given me power and strength and ability to do all things through our Great God. I appreciated the neuro brain seminar which helped me see explicitly the power of the mind and how to change the way I think. It powerfully changed all areas of my life. It was excellent, very powerful, the audience loved it, yes, I would recommend it to everyone!!!

I found the seminar very challenging, inspiring, and timely, – very impacting! People love Leo’s honesty, and he had great rapport with the audience, – they were eating out of his hand, – It was the best I have ever seen. The subjects were very good and relavent. The many people I spoke to spoke very highly of it and the feedback was very positive. An incredible honest transition was well integrated and wonderful. Leo’s speaking was great, masterful and energetic. I definitely recommend this to others, and am keen to run it myself. The seminar was unusual in that it delivered what it said it would in just one weekend. Amazing and Incredible!
    Pastor Neil Thompson
    Paparui, NZ

I was not only educated, but also inspired and motivated. Extremely relavent subjects, and great response from the audience. Transition was smooth, gentle and appealing. Leo’s ability to speak and reach the audience is a 10 out of 10. I would recommend this to all, it was extremely motivating and empowering!
    Pastor Victor Kulakov

It is informative and motaviting. The perfect tool to reach the secular world. Most effective was the last seminars on money, but all seminars were important and relavent to society today. Great response from the people, and the church people. – very positive feel. Leo had the respect of the crowd, and was extremely well received. I would recommend All Power to everyone. I was very impressed with the whole program, it was inspirational and motivating. It helped me to set goals, and taught me to stay focused. The tools can be used over and over. A great seminar, lets do it again!

The all power seminar challenged me to better myself in every area of my life. It is an amazing and comfortable approach that confidently meets the needs of the secular mind, – and any fellow human being. Every subject presented was very relavent to all persuasions of life. There was a powerful and positive connection between Leo and his audience and the transition to the evangelistic seminar was the best thing I have ever seen. Leo kept the audience spellbound with no room for boredom. I would definitely recommend the All Power Seminar to everyone!

Where do I start? All Power has changed my life! I found the information fascinating and personally empowering particularily goal setting. I am excited about the user friendliness of All Power. I found it very easy to invite people to it and the people loved it. I worked also as a greeter and the people’s response was terrific! The transition great, – the people are keen to return. It was simply awesome!

All Power was very helpful, it is fantastic to reach the secular world. The subject matter was very, very relavent and the audience was very positive, exceedingly well done, and the audience was eating out of his hand at the end.

All Power inspired and challenged me personally in the area of stewardship. The program is highly recommended to reach a professional, secular audience. The transition was very well done, smooth and appealing. The program is an excellent tool for witnessing, Praise the Lord!

    Dear Leo,

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for coming and doing the All Power (AP) seminars

with me last year in Auckland, New Zealand. I felt I should wait for several months before writing to you

in order to allow time to see how successful AP proved to be in Auckland in the medium term.

Several months having now passed, I can say that the AP seminar has been a great boon to our church

and a very successful program. Our committee members are saying it is the most successful

evangelism this church has ever been involved with.

Our new people are of high quality. They are already contributing to our church through music,

supporting the programs and our tithe has also increased. I was concerned as to how you would

transition our people from AP1 to AP2 and then from you, the evangelist, to me, the local pastor. Firstly

I want to comment on your transition from AP I (the more secular program) to the AP2 (the evangelistic

program). From doing evangelism for years, I know how difficult it can be to go from a secular program

to a spiritual, there is usually a huge drop off between the two, if not a complete failure. However, not

so with AP – we saw a 50% transition from one to the other, which was fantastic. I can see why so many

transitioned – your enthusiasm and sincerity in inviting them to the spiritual program was very dynamic

and winsome. I spoke with the president of the South New Zealand Conference after that meeting, and

he was also very impressed with the method you used.

When you were leaving the country and turning the program over to me, I was somewhat anxious as to

how this next transition would go. However, the way in which you introduced the ongoing church

programs to the new people made it very attractive to them. After you left we had a good group stay on

and many of them are still with us. Several have been baptized/joined the church and others are still

attending 1-3 times/week, some of whom plan on being baptized in the future. I’ve just baptized one

young couple and will marry them in a few months time. This is a real thrill to the congregation and

    myself.

Overall the AP program has been a great success to our church, has energized our established

members and brought life to the new ones. This is why I’m booking you in for 2009 and hope to book

you on an annual basis thereafter.

Thanks again Leo for your willingness to be used of God and for helping grow God’s church worldwide.

Feel free to use this letter in any capacity you wish.

    Sincerely yours

    Pastor Daniel McKibben,

    Leo:

It was GREAT to have you come and minister to us during Camp Meeting with your All Power Seminar. The evaluations that we received back from the members rated you at the top of the speakers. I believe God used you to help His people see things in a new way. Thanks. Sending you a couple of letters via land concerning a couple of items that we have discussed and you asked me to put in writing. God Bless.

Here, in Charlotte North Carolina, we have had the privilege and pleasure of having the excellent program Leo Schreven brings with his “All Power” evangelism. The format and process of evangelism with ‘All Power’ is different than our traditional forms of evangelism. For this reason there were some questions regarding the effectiveness of the process. I’m glad to report every person involved enjoyed every aspect of the ‘All Power’ seminar.

In Level I, Leo Schreven showed great mastery of the motivational self help seminar. He took us on an educational, informative and biblical ride that gave us tools to improve our lives. Many were the guests and members who approached me with enthusiastic wonder of the things learned.

When Level II began we had almost 100% retention of guests. Folks were anxious to begin the Bible Prophecy part of the seminar. Leo demonstrated profound Bible knowledge faithfully. It was with joy that all listened and grew in the Word of God.

My favorite part of Leo’s ‘All Power’ seminar was personally working with him, as a pastor, and visiting with our guests. Each guest that visited with us was gently led to a commitment to the Lord and to His church. Leo didn’t pressure a single person, but was able to get decisions from most guests. We are still baptizing folks that made decisions during these visits.

I can’t say enough about Leo Schreven’s ‘All Power’ seminar. He is a real pleasure to work with and I look forward to our next campaign with ‘All Power’ and Leo Schreven leading us again.

    To whom it may concern:

Leo Schreven came to the Hood River, Oregon Seventh Day
Adventist Church Oct. 12-14 and presented the ALL POWER Seminar for
personal Growth, Success and Achievement. We mailed out seven thousand
brochures and had a good attendance of both non-church members and
church members. Both groups showed great interest in what Leo was
presenting and continued to come to each lecture . In my observation of
these meetings Leo is one of the best speakers that we have, to reach
the secular population in America. We have some very good interests from
these meetings that want to continue to study ! The concept of getting
the local business owners and their employee’s to sponsor the ALL POWER
SEMINAR is ingenious ! Leo has an audience that the business
professionals pay for, and another audience that come from the brochures
that he mails to the community. The overall comments that I received
were very positive, and many were benefited.. I highly recommend Leo Schreven
and the ALL POWER Seminars, and I appreciate all the hard work that
Leo has done and is doing to help the Church to grow and to build
    up the body of Christ.

    To Whom It May Concern,

My name is Dennis Clayville. I was the coordinator for the All Power Seminar here in La Grande, OR. For the past 3 years I have been the Head Elder in the La Grande Church. My wife and I are 38 year residents of La Grande and own our a natural food store which has been in business for 21 years.

I have been acquainted with the All Power Seminars now for about 5 years. The first seminar that I attended was in our church here in La Grande, OR. Our pastor at that time had known Leo from past seminars. Leo reaches both young and old in this seminar. We had one couple who sat on the front row every session and drove about 30 miles round trip to attend. They were both in there late 70’s and I did not think they would enjoy this seminar at all, but Leo won them from the beginning.

Since that first seminar I have attended one other All Power Seminar level I and organized the one we held here in La Grande this past August 2007. We used the corporate sponsorship approach to cover some of the expenses. We mailed out 9,000 brochures and held the meetings in a public hall. The seminar was well received by the public and our own members. Since the seminar in August we have been continuing a weekly study class of the life mastery principles taught in the seminar. The attendance has been good with about half of those attending are nonmembers.

In my opinion the All power Seminar should be a required course for all students young and old. The concepts of taking personal responsibilty, goal setting, overcoming limiting beliefs, awakening to our spiritual need and the biblical understanding concerning finances make this a very powerful approach to reaching the secular mind.

My only regret is that I did not put these life changing principles to work in my life 40 years ago. I would recommend without reservation the promotion of this seminar on as large a scale as possible.

I am thankful for the opportunity we had to have Leo Schreven present his All Power Seminar live and in person at the Everett Forest Park Seventh-day Adventist Church. I believe it is an effective approach to reach the busy people of our world today.
The topics presented are things that people are interested in. They are helpful for people’s lives. They speak of the practical nature of Bible truth. Leo is extremely dynamic and is thus motivating, inspirational, and entertaining, as well as massively educational. The intense weekend is chalked full of lots of valuable information.

This All Power seminar is particularly valuable because it brings so many areas together like health, finances, relationships, and the spiritual life. It deals with core issues like your passion and values. It helps you organize your life by first dreaming and then setting goals to help make your dreams come true. It can be a bridge event between your felt needs seminars and your prophecy seminars.

I personally benefited from the seminar immediately. My wife and I figured out a time in our schedule where we could walk together almost every morning for a half an hour. We get to exercise, hold hands, and talk all at the same time. It started Sunday the last day of the seminar. We have only missed one day in over 2 weeks. We are looking forward to more positive changes in our lives.

Many of the church members shared that they are also experiencing benefits. One lady, who is a teacher at a public elementary school, said that she was able to share some things with her class that she learned at Leo’s seminar on her first day back in school. Another member made a decision to drastically cut back on eating sugar. It has been over 2 weeks since the seminar and I saw her yesterday at a meal and she is continuing to avoid sweets and is feeling great. Another person who is retired said that she really appreciated what Leo was teaching and said, “Us old folks can still learn a thing or two and get excited about it as well.”

The members of the community were very excited during the seminar too. We had a Hindu family there. The husband was so happy to be there he got involved in passing out our advertisement for the upcoming prophecy seminar with Leo on DVD. He did not even realize what he was passing out. Another non-Christian woman was there who was very professional. She was interested in the information that Leo was presenting. She was making plans to go to Harvard University to earn a doctorate. She already had a master’s degree in computer consulting and was working for Microsoft. She was very excited about what was happening at the seminar and was curious about the spiritual component but was not committed to going into further studies at this time. I don’t think either one of these people would have come to a seminar about strictly “Christian things.” This is way to meet many people you would not attract otherwise.
I appreciated the financial section very much. It is encouraging to know that there are things we can do to improve our financial situation. However, for some church members this was the most challenging area. There are so many different beliefs about money even in the church. Some realize that the most important thing that we can do with money is give it. So they think it is the only thing we should talk about. It is hard for them to hear something in church that tells them how to get money. A few people believe that wealth is bad and poverty is a virtue. Some people have been told that investing is like gambling. Which puts pastors in a very difficult position nowadays because we have to invest our money for retirement. This topic can also come across to some people as something filled with pride or self-centeredness because you have to be thinking about yourself and building your wealth all the time. Still others think that because we are living at the end of time we should be investing in the cause of God rather than the stock market. It is hard to have the right perspective on all of this.

It would be helpful for the people to see a balanced approach that would incorporate all of these ideas, if that is possible. I think a lot more education needs to be done in this area for both pastors and church members. Many people are confused on this issue. Many others don’t understand how to function in the area of investing. It is a challenging area to be successful at. Yet this could be so helpful to people in their lives which would be great blessing to the church. Leo did a good job of sharing Bible verses to help clarify the issues but more needs to be done. Some people just need time to process this information and grow in their understanding of investing. Going through the seminar again and being able to discuss it and add to it will help.

We are following up the All Power seminar by going through it again. We are taking one lesson a week on a Tuesday evening. We are also showing the All Power level 2. It is a prophecy series on DVD by Leo. We are showing it on Saturday mornings as an option during Sabbath School time from 9:00 – 10:30 am. After showing the DVD’s we have a time of discussion and review. We do have some of the non-Adventist people coming to these classes.

    Hi Leo,
This is Geoff Starr and first of all I would like to thank you very much for coming out to Morgantown, WV donating you time and money.

I could not be more pleased with the results from the people where were there (yes it would be nice to have more people). The people who were there I could tell really enjoyed every session. I think this seminar needs to go to every church in North America. We are planning to have you back sometime in the next few years. I feel that it changed every ones life in some area. And I feel that our church dynamics will be better because of the seminar.

    Thanks Again,

    To Whom it may Concern:

This letter is to let you know that on the weekend of August 10, 11, 12, 2007 we were privileged to have Leo Schreven come to our church and present his All Power Seminar. The content of the seminar, along with his excellent and humorous way of presenting was a blessing to all of us. I am particularly impressed with the way he keeps the principles of the seminar centered upon Jesus.

Leo obviously has the knowledge and experience so that when he speaks, people listen. He inspired all of us with the concepts of holistic living, and especially emphasized how important it is to submit every facet of life to the will of God. He used many Bible texts to show how it is God’s will that people would be in good health and would also prosper. Leo’s main focus is on how we can use all this information to bring glory to God, use our gifts and talents to bless other people, and how we can live happy, productive and joyful lives.

We consider the Seminar to be so valuable that we are making plans to have Leo return, present the All Power Seminar again, and then to follow up with his Prophecy Seminar. There is a group attending follow-up meetings on Monday nights, where the principles that Leo teaches are being reviewed and reemphasized. Another group will soon start meeting on Thursday nights to review and become more acquainted with the principles found in the All Power workbook.

Leo is doing a great work for God out there. Our prayers are with him as he reaches many souls with this unique ministry.

    To Whom It May Concern:

From June 29 – July 1, 2007 the Houston International Church had the privilege of hosting Pr. Leo Schreven with the All Power Seminar. It was a wonderfully power-packed weekend indeed. I had heard many good things about this seminar but nothing can quite describe it as well as seeing it firsthand. Pr. Schreven’s approach is refreshingly innovative targeting and reaching the modern secular mind. Throughout the weekend we had more non-SDA’s come through our doors than at any other time – including our evangelism during Passion Week.
The members benefited from the most comprehensive, holistic, practical Christian life mastery seminars I have ever witnessed. People began to see hope in turning their lives around from multiple bad habits and were inspired to live a life of excellence. Our church in its totality was immensely blessed by these Bible based (more like Bible saturated) seminars.
Of greater impact were the financial presentations on Sunday afternoon. These were the some of the most attended and beneficial presentations. One of the realities of ministering at the local church level is working with members who for the most part are drowning in debt and not equipped to manage their finances. Pr. Schreven presented solid biblical fundamentals coupled with a proper perspective on stewardship and submission to God’s will. This was a powerful, eye-opening combination indeed.
My prayer is that more of our churches could benefit from Pr. Schreven’s seminars, as difficult as it may be with his schedule as packed as it is. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to call or write.

    To Whom It May Concern,

I would like to take this time to highly recommend and encourage those who want hope for their lives and control for their future to attend, study, and apply the principles taught by Mr. Leo Schreven in his All Power Seminars.

Being on the ‘Aging, Children, and Youth committee for many legislative sessions and setting through hundreds of hours of various committee meetings on public policy, one main goal seems to always come to the forefront of every legislator’s mind. “How do we get our children to become good citizens? How do we invest in them to keep them out of prison and give them a hope for their future?”

Most politicians will tell you that more money for education is the key; yet I know many educated criminals in our penal system today. Some say that we need to make sure that we have high paying jobs available to our constituency; but there are many highly skilled and talented workers losing their jobs because of their inability to relate to
others and set goals – their motivation, their zeal for living, their sense of direction and purpose has been lost. Some skilled, talented, and educated people, which seem successful at first, realize that they can’t manage their lives and get discouraged. They need an encourager, someone that can ‘coach’ them, someone that can put them on a wise path to life. This position use to be reserved for families, but more and more the government tries to solve this ‘unsolvable’ problem.

Legislators, both Democrats and Republicans, try to solve this hurt in our society by creating more government programs to help those in need. Taxes are raised to pay for these programs, thus, more businesses leave and even more people lose their jobs, creating more poverty. Is there an end to this downward spiral? it seems as no one knows what to do or where to turn. There is a lack of: morality, justice, personal responsibility and liberty, with no idea how to create wealth and to take charge of one’s life.

That’s exactly what Leo Schreven’s All Power Seminar does. It teaches people how to take charge of their lives in simple steps. It teaches how to add value to one’s life by taking responsibility for one’s own life and the decisions we make – how to add character and ethics. With emotions of defeat, fear, anger, discouragement, and helplessness so apparent in today’s climate, I enjoyed his seminar on how to manage one’s emotions.

Just as Thomas Edison said, “I never failed, it means I found 2,000 ways to NOT make the light bulb work,” we also learned through his All Power Seminar there is really no such thing as defeat, only lessons to success – perspective is so important, diligence is so crucial.

Two of my favorite lessons that every American should see, were goal setting and creating financial wealth. I wrote a piece of legislation in 2003 requiring more basics be taught in education. However, one key element I believed was missing. A course on managing money, personal assets, how to develop wealth and plan ahead for one’s future. After all, 95 percent of all Americans after age 65 can’t make it on their own. They either need help from the government or family members if they are to survive. The bill required a course in personal finance be mandatory for graduation. I received a national award for that bill and even though I think government is too big and shouldn’t regulate everything, it seems this is truly foundational education for the future wealth and less taxation of our nation – for people to plan ahead financially, to rely on themselves, not Social Security and the government.

Mr. Schreven’s seminars on wealth and financial planning were easy to understand and enlightening. Everyone needs to see and heed the lessons taught therein.

I have sat through hundreds of hours of seminars from “Financial Freedom” to resolving relational conflicts to marriage counseling to youth problems to encryption analysis to roots of languages to business to self-improvement to world view to public policy to evolution, all the way to our Founding Fathers’ ideas of freedom to public education and I have seen NOTHING better than the Biblically- based principles on managing one’s life given in Mr. Leo Schreven’s All Power Seminar.

I know that our Founding Father’s vision of a Government of, by, and for the people was their dream. This representative republic must endure, but it can not unless people get wisdom on how to manage their own lives. I encourage all who read this to attend, study, and support Leo Schreven’s All Power Seminar.

    Onward and Upward,
    Sincerely,

    Jim Holt
former State Representative and State Senator
    Republican nominee Lieutenant Governor

    To whom it may concern,

I wanted to give a quick report about the Leo Schreven meetings we just held this weekend.

We had over 100 visitors attend. The response was overwhelming. Every single person I spoke to said if they had only known how good this was going to be they would have invited everybody they knew. The sponsorship idea is absolutely brilliant. It brought to these meetings the best and the brightest visitors I’ve ever met at any church sponsored event. One sponsoring group said if we did this again, they would bring 250 people. 26 of the visitors signed up so far to join our Thursday evening class we’re beginning. Two of the exceptionally talented seminar sponsors have agreed to help lead these classes. Three more visitors have already signed up to take Bible studies. Many others said they would be coming to our church.

Our members were so excited I can hardly believe it. I’ve never seen them work so well together and work so hard. I was very proud of them. I was surprised at how truly disappointed they were that they had not invited more friends to attend.

Finally, Leo did a fantastic job. The crowd was engaged even though these meetings were 15 seminars crammed into 18 ½ hours over three days. He never pressured anyone to buy anything or to join any group. Not only did he do this seminar for free, he also paid for all of our flyers to be printed and mailed. He loved 24-Seven and our church loved him. I would without reserve highly suggest and encourage he be allowed to do future seminars in this conference.

    Thank you and God bless!

    North German Union, January, 2007,

    Dear Church Leaders,

I want to give my report of the really positive impact All Power has been and even becomes more in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. I am responsible for All-Power in German speaking countries. I know at least two dozen cities, where churches and laypeople organized All Power Seminars with Leo Schreven, myself – and everywhere without exception the results are amazing!

” Church members are motivated to reach out for friends and new people as well.
” Non church members come and bring their friends with them to the seminars.
” Hundreds of lives have been changed in an unbelievable way.

I could tell stories of people, who had been in hopeless situations – business, relationship, health and some suicidal – and after one single weekend have changed completely. So much so that their fellow-workers couldn’t believe that it’s the same person. And these changes are lasting. Currently I am preparing for an E-learning All Power event for the Union. In April our Conference has hired Leo to train all our pasotrs how to do All Power Seminars.

Recently in January 2007 we had two seminars with Leo Schreven in Hannover and Schneeberg (former East Germany). The Conference is absolutely positive to All Power, and so is the Conference and Union I am employed in. They set me free part time just for advancing the All Power work in Germany because of the positive impact it is having to win souls for Jesus.

The business people we would never reach with our other programs and methods, but for All Power they come, stay for spiritual seminars and decide for Christ. These are business people we usually never get into our programs. This effect is completely new to the whole German speaking part of Europe.

And the best prove of the positive results may be, that every single place we have been the people want another seminar and start planning for it immediately.

I’m pleased to tell you about this, and if you have further questions, don’t hesitate to ask.

    To Whom it may concern:

It is an absolute pleasure to give a report on the the All Power program here in South Africa, specifically on the East Rand Region in South Africa.

I have been involved in several different occations where the All Power program was presented.
    1. I attended a few Seminars in April 2005 during our Meeting of the Transvaal Conference.
    2. Next, I actually flew over the California, Le Moore, to attend the full Seminar in June 2005.
    3. Next I attended a few of the Seminars in the Civic Hall of Kempton Park in Johannesburg in June 2006.
    4. Next I helped organized and attended a Full All Power Level 1 Weekend Seminar in August 2006 held in Dundee, Kwazulu Natal, South Africa.
    5. Next my Church organized a full All Power Level 1 Seminar in January 2007, in a Conference Centre, in Brakpan on the Eastern side of Johannesburg.

Personally, I was inspired to take action and live my life up to much higher standards and values to the glory and honor of God. The spiritual nature of these meetings was of the highest standard and was done in the most professional manner. I was encouraged to an even deeper commitment to God, his Word and my Church.

Let me give some feedback regarding the Weekend Seminar that was held in January 2007 where my local Church was involved. I have been serving as Pastor for the last 6 years. We have been working hard at transitioning our Church to a Cell based Structure, and even though our Business Cell Group took the initiative to invite Pastor Leo, the whole Church were informed and supported it. We targeted people outside of our church and our goal was to motivate them to join our Cell Groups once the weekend was over. The weekend was such a success, and the amount of people just kept increasing over the weekend.

After the weekend, we managed to organized those interested into two Cell Groups. We have built such good relationships and have had many requests from attendees for Pastor Leo to come speak at their Churches. Even though South Africa is a very conservative Country, and no dogma was presented over the weekend.

Our church leaders have been so impressed with the All Power program, that they have descided to use this as an entering tool for our Cell Groups in 2007. They are inspired and inviting their friends and neighbours and have been trained to share their faith along the line.

We have found that Church members are being shaken out of their sleep, inspired to do something and let their influence count for Jesus. We were encouraged, and after Leo left, have taken up the responibility and ownership to continue to build our Local Church. Once we have build our Cell Groups, invited more folk, and increased our Friendship basis, Pastor Leo Schreven will be invted back. We are working towards baptising no less than 100 people before the end of 2008. This would be nearly doubling our current membership.

We have a high regard for Pastor Leo’s personal faith, commitment, loyalty and integrity. We can recommend the All Power program to any Church who wants to get out of a Loadicean state, start taking responsibility and live a better life for Jesus and our Church.

Please feel free to contact us at any time. May God find us busy and faithfull in his work when Jesus comes.

    Blessings,

    Evangelism Report
All Power Level 1 – Harvey Convention Center, March 9-11

The city of Tyler is a very traditional community located in East Texas Bible belt. Since going to church is part of the culture of this community evangelism here is very difficult. Our Church has done many things in the past with little success. Thus, the Tyler church decided to find innovative ways to present the gospel message. One of them is the All Power Seminar presented by Leo Schreven.

On March 9-11 2007 we held the All Power Seminar at the local Convention Center in Tyler. Preparations for this event began 9 months before the opening night. The whole church worked together to find businesses that would become sponsors to this motivational seminar. Over ten thousand dollars were raised with this method, which helped to pay for many of the expenses. This process can actually generate enough money to pay for all the evangelism expenses.

On the opening night and throughout the weekend we had over 200 guests coming to the All Power level 1 (not including church members). That in itself was a victory for the Church, because they have never seen so many visitors in any on their events before.

Leo kept the audience connected. The church members mingled with the guests during the meals. The All Power Kids program was a tremendous success with over 50 kids throughout the weekend. It was beautiful to see the church members working happily together.

There are so many reasons we chose All Power to be our main evangelistic effort for the year. One of them is that during the weekend, with non-threatening subjects, people start developing trust and friendship with the speaker. Once they develop that trust, they are more inclined to listen to anything else. To me, the All Power follows Jesus’ model. Jesus took care of the people needs first, then presented the bible teachings. All Power does the same thing.

Another reason, it creates an opportunity for relationships to be formed before coming to church. Also it exposes the church to the truth that we need to be more active in the community.

On Thursday, March 15 we had the opening night for our follow up Bible seminar. The church members were apprehensive, not knowing how many would show up. Some members mentioned that if we had 20 guests it would be wonderful. Well, we had 60 visitors at the opening night. Over 25 kinds in the children’s program. Our church is so excited with the outcome that we are already making plans for the All Power to come back next year. We believe that we will reap wonderful results once this is over.

We praise the Lord for the All Power ministry and for Leo’s dedication and commitment to the gospel message.

    Best regards,

  60. Kristy, I love you so much! (this isn’t something that comes very easily out of a “German mouth”…) Thank you!

  61. Hi there,
Nobody doubted that Leo had quite a number of fans, but all this quantity doesn’t replace valid arguments.
I promise to use much less space to make my point. I’m not too busy to fight for truth and to discuss theological matters. (Not even Paul was too busy for that). May be, this website isn’t just one of the devil’s rabbits after all, since Leo did respond.

    1. I did supply documentation of my claims and Leo even repeats my quotations in the 2nd point. We’ll talk about that later. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to show even one single claim where I was supposedly out of context. That is because the context is exactly my concern! What is the message of this seminar? Where is the focus?
Concerning the German Hope TV, he forgot to mention, that they took All Power in any form completely out of their program!

    2. There is almost no need to comment on this. Thank you for demonstrating so clearly what I mean with „wrong use of the Bible“.
Interpreting the Bible has nothing to do with counting verses! The word „war“ is mentioned even more than 3000 times. Does that justify war in any way?? It is interesting, that these sentences are left almost without comment. But they nevertheless send a message. And in the context of the whole Seminar1 they send the message, that the striving for money is God’s will.
I’m extremly sad, that so many pastors actually believe, the strange claim, that 16 of Jesus parables deal with how to handle money, and that he supposedly talked more about money than about heaven and hell combined. (where have they studied theology?)
Definitely the parables are not about money! (except the one where the rich man made money and wealth a priority in his life, but would die the same night…)
Not even the parable of the 10 pounds is about money. In Leo’s book, he claims that this parable is Jesus’ most powerful financial sermon. In this book:
You will not believe what you read! Christianity has got it all wrong: they have (over 2000 years) twisted this parable and they still think it is about talents and gifts. Fortunately Leo found out that it is not: it is about money. Yes, plain money: God wants us to trade, to invest, to make profits… „and in the end, the rich will get richer and the poor will get poorer…“

Leo come on!!! If this parable was about money, shouldn’t we always have an extra bottle of oil in our pockets? No, the parable of the virgins isn’t about oil and this one isn’t about money. It’s a picture!
Jesus definitely did not talk more about money, than about heaven and hell together. Although he mentioned sometimes how bad it is to make money a priority in your life. (The APS teaches you to make money and wealth a priority in your life.)

    3. As mentioned above I have extreme difficulties with the claim, that prosperity, happiness and health, are the result of my behaviour. This leads to the assumption, that the opposite (sickness etc) is also the result of my behaviour. Not only the book of Job teaches that these assumptions are wrong.
The disciples thought, the rich young ruler was a devout and „good“ person, because of his wealth.
Most people thought so, but Jesus taught them, that for a rich person it is even more difficult to get into heaven. The disciples were surprised and asked, if this successful, blessed person isn’t good enough, who then can be saved?
Yes, Israel was promised a good and wealthy life (if they fullfilled their part), Jesus disciples heard another thing for this life: take my yoke upon you…
It is of course a point one could discuss about, because blessings of God do exist. But they cannot be reduced to the All Power message: you will become rich, healthy and happy in this world if you follow the Leo Schreven method. These blessings do not follow automatically a certain behaviour.

All the rest is the old attempt to justify unbiblical claims with the supposed success. I think I have already shown, that this is not a valid argument. Scientology has even more success, this doesn’t make them right. And also this kind of succes isn’t measurable. Nobody can look into the hearts and say if a person joined the church for the wrong reasons (or the right reasons). But if wrong promises were made, the danger is very real. And I fear in the end, the damage will be much bigger!

The comment of the German leader of AP is completely outdated! Business people have not been reached in numbers worth mentioning. Less than 20 pastors are into All Power here and many of them responded, when confronted with quotations of the handbook, that they had to change large parts of the seminar. He also forgot to mention that the South German Conference has demanded a new completly revised handbook. And as I said, the Hope TV has taken All Power in any form completely out of their program.

Leo come on! I am not your enemy and I’m sure you are a very nice person! But people tend to confuse being nice with being right. But being wrong isn’t so unusual. Every human person is sometimes wrong, me too. Consider at least how extremly difficult it would be to convince you of being wrong, if so many people love you for your nice personality.
