The theme of our NPUC soul winning plans for July-December 2009 is “The Radical Teachings of Jesus.” Each church and school is encouraged to follow the suggested schedule below or to adapt it to their local situation. (Click on links to find additional information & resources.)
- July- 1st week: Week of Fasting & Prayer; Help members/students find a Missionary Partner
- July-October: Form Small Group Bible Studies and Outreach Groups
- October- Last week: Week of Reaping
- November-December: Disciple New Members
Prayer Cards, posters and DVDs are available to every church and school in the NPUC through their Local Conference Ministerial/Evangelism Coordinator.
The Week of Reaping in late October can take many forms in each local church. Here are a few ideas–
- Show the Derek Morris DVD series provided through your conference
- Preach/Teach your own series, using the DVD or other resources
- Encourage several home Bible study groups during this week to focus particularly on reaping
- Use the Living with Hope series, Share Him series or other local reaping resources.
