NPUC Evangelists Rotation Schedule

Updated July 22, 2009
How to schedule an NPUC evangelist for your church/district

  • If you are an church member, talk with your district pastor.
  • If you are an district pastor, talk with your conference evangelism coordinator.
  • If you are a non-NPUC conference evangelism coordinator, contact the NPUC evangelist about the possibility of an “Outside” meeting.

NPUC Conference Evangelism Coordinators

Alaska Ken Crawford
Idaho Steve McPherson
Montana John Loor, Jr.
Oregon Stan Beerman or Paul Johnson
Upper Columbia Gerald Haeger
Washington Bruce Koch

How this schedule is organized-

  1. Assigning Time Slots. Each local Conference Office Ministerial Dept. schedules according to following voted formula:
    • OR, UC, WA, Outside = 3/year;
    • ID, AK, MT = 1/year
    • TOTAL = 15/year
  2. Trading Time Slots. Any conference evangelism coordinator may trade time slots with another if they wish, as long as both inform the NPUC Ministerial Department. This should be done at least 16 months in advance.
  3. Assigning Districts. Each conference determines where the services of the evangelist will be most needed and/or productive. These assignments should be done at least 16 months in advance.
  4. Arranging Outside Meetings. NPUC evangelists can arrange meetings outside when contacted by non-NPUC conference evangelism coordinators. These arrangements should be made at least 16 months in advance. The NPUC office will then make contractual arrangements with the inviting conference.
  5. It’s obvious we’re counting on everyone serving a LONG time!

  1. Dear North Pacific Union:

Greetings from Lincoln, Nebraska! I serve as the Personal Ministries/Evangelism Director for Christian Record Services for the Blind (the GC institution commissioned with serving the blind in the world field).

Our president, Larry Pitcher, asked me to get in contact with our media ministries and share how we can partner with them.

There are two things we can to support and assist those holding evangelistic meetings:

Many people today have vision problems and require larger print. Christian Record can provide the Bible lessons as nightly handouts during evangelistic meetings. We have 6-7 sets of Bible courses in braille and large print which would serve very nicely as nightly handouts for the vision impaired. Even those who are not totally blind enjoy the large print. We would like to make these available to all evangelists, pastors, lay people, and churches conducting evangelistic meetings.
We can also send out letters of invitation to the blind people we serve in a church’s community when they hold meetings. If the church or evangelist will contact us and inform us when the meetings are, we can send invitations to our blind people anywhere in the world. This comes at no cost because postage to the blind is free.

So when you and VOP, personally hold meetings, remember we can provide large print and braille lessons, and we can send letters of invitation. If you would like to give us your evangelistic schedule for 2009, we will automatically send letters of invitation to blind people for your meetings.

    Pastor David M. Klinedinst
